would using a heating pad for seedlings help with low humidity?

I have 2 autoflower seedlings. They will be 1 week old tomorrow and growing nice. I have them in red party cups with good soil. I have a small grow box . The temp is 75-80. I am having very low humidity at 20 - 30%. I was wanting if I placed the seedlings on a heating pad on low help raise the humidity alittle? Or is it just a bad idea and I should not worry about it?

No. Raising the temp will LOWER the humidity.

You are on the low end of humidity but probably ok. You could raise it quite a bit by LOOSELY draping some saran wrap over them, or better cut the bottom out of a clear cup and invert it over the seedling.

It's fine. My humidity is 15% cause I use cool winter air from outside to cool my room. No issues at all.

You will be fine with the low humidity, I find my top couple inches dry out really quick with low humidity, top dressing with just about anything (rocks, cococoir, mulch) helps. Or get a humidifier, they are pretty cheap.

I thought about getting a humidifier for my grow box. But I am using just bare cfls for lighting right now. So wont the moisture crack the bulbs if they get wet?
