Would you grow this close to others?

I have a ... most likely stupid question. Would anyone have the guts to grow in a closet without exaust filtered through activated charcoal, if they had a split level apartment with an old lady living upstairs... ?

This would be my first grow, i plan on useing low heat CFL's to toss out 17,000 lumens, this should keep the smell down because of low heat. Would i be FKING insane to grow this close to a neighbor? Im wondering if i use ONA gel and maybe a few other methods i can keep the smell down. The worst part is for my neighbor to go to their house they basically walk between two of the rooms of my house because the steps come down and out the front door there. It was never totally sealed off at this point and its basically two locked doors back to back.. one in their house and one in mine. The closet im scoping out for my grow is only about a room away from the unsealed doors. I plan on growing 1 plant the first time, to get a hold on hydroponics. Would 1 plant really smell that bad that it would keep my house WREAKING like goodies? What about 2 plants?.. I really have little experience with the smell of flowering MJ, but i do smoke up in my house without any complaints. Is the smell of flowering stronger then the smell when you smoke it?

Would anyone do this or has anyone else experimented with *high risk* grows? ... Also if i had guests over would they instantly know i had a bush in my closet? lol

if you grow a sweet fruity bud instead of a skunk or something u mite get away with it. but how do you mean split apartment, like you share your flat with others and have your own room, or the whole flat is yours, and theres other people with other flats in the same building?

if you can smoke out with no complaints your probably fine maybe you could make a cabinet that sealed up pretty good just to be safe

Well what i mean is.. Its a regular old house, the bottom floor is mine, and the top is this old ladies. Its owned by a landlord who only drops by to mow the grass. That B#@$% better leave my grass alone....
