Would you guys up pot?

I threw these autos in 9" (1.5 gallon) pots of bastard mix, and they at day 23 now. Was looking to up pot at week 4.

The medium is 50/30/20 Coco, compost and perlite with 2 teaspoons of random slow release pellets (8-4-10) per pot and about a cup of zeolite per pot. I have some 5 and 10 gallon pots downstairs and medium. The 5 gallons will be hard to pot in as they are only 2" wider in diameter, the 10 gallons are 16" and will be far easier to pot Into but seem excessive for autoflowers in a 2x4 and a waste of medium

I've seen impressive plants out of 1.5 gallon pots of Coco, and I'd assume that won't be possible in the mix I'm using as the zeolite and compost will hold water and decrease aeration.

What do you guys think is the best course of action? Treat it like Coco and hope for the best, or treat it like potting mix and up pot?

My concern after pondering on this a while is that smaller pots mean more frequent watering.

I'm tempted to just grow these out in 1 gal and those smaller ones are like red solo cup size lolz just to see.
Looks amazing though. I'd love to try a sog in one gallon pots. I have a 3.3x3.3 here, run 9 and feast my eyes.

I'm keen to see how the 1.5 gals go, but at the same time I have to take off for work here and there for a few days at a time and might not be able to water daily/twice daily during flower. I'm hiding the op in uni accom too so I can't have anyone doing it for me.

Have someone help you transplant to the 5gal. If not.. use the 10's.. just don't fill em.

I could probs do the 5s myself, I'll just have to spoon medium slowly around the current root ball and take a bit of time, there's a total of a 1" ring around the 9" pots to fill. Normally I'll make sure there's a substantial difference in diameter when up potting to save the hassle or tight fits. I should have started in 6" pots, would have been easier to throw in the 5 gals.

I've gotta do the up potting in my walk in closet too as I hide the op in uni accom so it's all on the down low lol. I'm already running trays of runoff down in the dead of night and sneaking in bags of medium to the upper floors haha.

It can still be done. Pour the soil on top, and spread it over the sides to fill in the walls.

i'm making it sound like i have to input nuclear launch codes and suck four dicks to get the job done lol. Was mainly wondering if 1.5 gallons would be doable, but the more I think about potential work issues I might side with a 5 gallon. At least I can go a few days before it'll dry out.
