I had a 250 watter for years then quit growing for a while. Just recently picked it back up. Completely re-did my rooms. Even moved them to a different bedroom closet. It is actually smaller too. haha. flower was 4x2x8, but is 3.5x2x8 now. Before, I had a 250 watt hps and sometimes hung a 150 when the room was full. Also had a carbon scrubber but not a cool tube on either lights so it got pretty warm. Now I have a 600 watter in a cooled hood and the room stays cooler.
And i am litterally blinded by looking in the room for over a minute. I did not expect to see such a difference. I grew some crazy shit with that little set-up with close to a gram a watt a few times...can't wait to see what the 600 produces.
I am on day 1 of flower after a 5 week veg. I have 2 crystal, 2 cheese, and 2 blueberry. Also have 2 Jack Herrer on week 2 of veg and clones of all hopefully. Nothing rooted yet but topped them a week ago and used tops for clones. I had to make a new cloning chamber from scratch so haven't quiet got the humidity how I want it yet but fingers crossed on roots soon.
