man these assholes wont die... so I've been watching them under a microscope, and I noticed these spidermites that were 4 times bigger than the ones I was seeing previously... and after watching a fat one for less than 5 minutes, I saw her (I guess) lay 2 egg sack, no it wasnt poop, there poop is small tiny brown dots, while the egs are apreciably larger, and look kind of like clear little balls, almost like a trichrom head.

I never thought I would have so much fun killing my plant... but I'm still pissed as shit, this one lady is infested beyond repair, and I cant risk the others:evil:

check it out, im about to solve all your problems - do NOT kill that plant, unless you already did....go buy "No Pest Strips", a buddy had mites for a few days and they all died after a day or two with no pest strips, the bud was perfectly fine and it didnt harm the weed AT ALL. there were dead bugs all over the place lol, my buddy has used these strips on SEVERAL grows and they always work within a few days. i promise from lots of experience that it wont damage your bud, the quality wont be affected at all.

aw, how premature was it? the strips are just standard little things that you can hang from stuff (buddy hung his from his light), you can get them at Ace Hardware i think. might wanna google it tho

how the hell does a no pest strip kill mites? they cover the undersides of all the leaves. i keep hearing this no pest strip. how exactly does this kill them? do they just run to it?

my thoughts exactly. this is like the 4th time I've heard it, and I thought it must be somthing other than the fly strips that you hang. spidermites walk. I imagine that they get from plant to plat by touching leaves, and it had leaves touching 2 plants.
I removed almost all of the damaged leaves, the problem is that it was a small plant, one of my least favoites, and it was all the way in the back so I never noticed.
the leaves that had mites were soooo heavily mites that they looked like the leaves wer moving, under the scope I was able to watch them fighting, and having se it looked like :P

actually, "no pest strips" emit a chemical that kills the bugs - but it doesnt affect the weed at all, and if you have anything to say about it you should try it before claiming it damages the plant, because it doesnt. ive seen a few grows where it was used and my buddy also used it back years ago, the weed is incredible and there is no harm to the plant. there were dead bugs all over the room, but the weed was spectacular and huge and delicious and perfect. its just a mild chem that is harmless to plants yet kills bugs, i dont even know if its all that chemmy. the point is that its emitted so bugs everywhere in the room will be affected, while the plant stays nice and happy. my buddy even hung it from the light, his was air cooled & had a glass slide over the bottom so it didnt get the thing hot though of course.

where do spider mites even come from? like what is their natural habitat? they seem to be a big problem but i've never heard much of how to perhaps get rid of them by killing other outdoor plants that may carry them.. or something along those lines?

cut up a few cloves of garlic ,, add about 1/4 cup of cyanne pepper powder .. 1 tablespoon of laundry detergent & 3 or 4 drops of bleech add all this to 1 liter of water , let set for 2 or 3 days ,,, shake it up real good a few times a day ,,, strain it into a spray bottle & spray all leaves top & bottem & spray ur medium also ,, .... keep in mind this only prevents mites & aphids before they have a chance to infest... .. but try it anyways it should get rid of them very fast , also ,, clean your entire grow space with windex & bleech 1/2 & 1/2 walls, floor, celing ,, to rid of any future problems

For everyone, If you have big plants - take cuttings and get rid of the big plants. Wait for your cuttings to root, take them out - 1 at a time, use strong magnifying glass and brush bugs and eggs off of leaves and stems. Take your fingers and pinch around the bottom of your medium so you can kill the eggs and the live spider mites. Make sure you do both sides of the leaves throughly. Then, take your plant and dip it completely in your solution, BUT DON'T DIP THE ROOTS, only about 1/4 inch of medium. I prefer Azatrol, but you can use what ever you think will work. Azatrol is kind of expensive, but worth it. I also rub down the stems incase there are egg casings. "SPIDER MITES ARE WICKED MOTHER FUCKERS".
