So, I've been doing some experiments based on some reading I've been doing.
I've been trying this wrapping/re-wrapping technique where for the first two weeks you try to make your stems more horizontal and allow for more light through the plant. Then after two weeks you re-wrap in a totally different angle to kinda of train the plant to get different amounts of light.
What I've found is that by doing this I have more light per inch of height and more lumens to the bottom of the plant. I haven't been able to measure a yield increase but I'm thinking that I've done a little better because the bottoms are looking a lot more solid by doing this.
Has anyone else done a similar thing? Do you think that by training the plants to receive more light at different stages will help, or is it a waste of my time?
