WTF Bobby Jindal Appoints Tony Perkins TO law enforcement committee?

That’s right, Governor Jindal actually added someone who had been suspended from law enforcement in the 1990’s due to failing to report a conspiracy by anti-abortion extremists to his superiors, to the Louisiana Law Enforcement Commission. Tony Perkins is currently the head of the Family Research Council, and has made anti-gay statements as shameful as this one:
“The videos are titled ‘It Gets Better.’ They are aimed at persuading kids that although they’ll face struggles and perhaps bullying for ‘coming out’ as homosexual (or transgendered or some other perversion), life will get better. …It’s disgusting. And it’s part of a concerted effort to persuade kids that homosexuality is okay and actually to recruit them into that lifestyle.”

Tony Perkins also has past associations with the Council of Conservative Citizens (a White Nationalist organization) and also used David Duke’s mailing list in 1996 for Woody Jenkins’ campaign for US Senate against Mary Landrieu, which he managed.
