WTF Is A Pot Tax Stamp?

What is it? if i get one can i go to the poe poe station smoking a joint?

i always thought that the pot stamp was this kinda law that the feds passed back in the 30's that required anyone who bought or sold mj or even hemp had to purchase in order to buy and sell mj and hemp.. it was really the first act that was passed that really put a cramp on mj in the us.. i maybe wrong on this, but i am pretty sure this is what your talking about...

Tax stamp laws are in place to add an aggravating clause to any possesion charge. For example, if you're caught with grass in tx then you face possesion and a tax evasion charge. Tax laws are supposed to be designed to generate revenue, but paying the tax implies admitting you have weed to pay the tax for. That should be unconstitutional because of the fifth ammendment but the laws have been held up in court before.
