Trimming today and I noticed this top cola with some crystals forming- plants were never sprayed with anything including water.
Anyone know what this is?

Too much sugar can make the plant bleed clear or slightly coloured liquid but never seen that solidify do you think it could be this? I seen plants bleed it out when over fed molasses but what you got there i never seen far as i can remember

I wish I noticed it in the room before I cut the stem- could this have been close to the light and some trichomes have begun to crystallize??

It almost looks like pure THCA or CBD crystals, as if the sap dried out.. but I have no idea how that would even be possible?.. That would be cool, but its probably epsoms salt or something like that, lol. Whats it taste like?

We have found more- some single crystals that look like trichrome tips have come together and crystallized- first for me

Calcium oxalates maybe? Like the plant version of a kidney stone? You been giving them the pee treatment?

I don’t think it is guttation- talks of amber colors and also the droplets coming from the edge of the leaf-

Definitely not epsom salts- I don’t have any in my house-
These plants were not fed a salt based nutrient line either-

Yeah the sap is usually more amber color IME.
I knew plants could expel excess calcium, but I never seen crystals form like that.. That's my best guess, is calcium oxalate crystals...

This is the closest thing I have seen so far- thanks-although like you said they look different than the crystals in the article-Yeah the sap is usually more amber color IME.

Ive seen it pop out near nodes not just near leaves so definitely wouldnt eliminate it i just never seen that solidify ime
