ok well i have two plants, in two seperate pots, each pot has one seed. Both of them are about 5-6 weeks old and about 2 1/2 inches. Today when i went to check on them i noticed that there were a a couple of little plants growing withing the pots. could this be my plant or a seed from another plant was blown into my pots???? i have been pulling them but they regrow in different spots. Also i have noticed that one out my plants, the biggest leaf has tiny holes and is a lite brown around the holes. could this be bugs? or the sun burning the plant??? Pic Below

the sprouts are just weeds, i have them in my garden also, and another thing is i would get those pine needles out of your pot, it makes the soil very acidic and might harm your plants.

The small sprout is just a weed like Gamble said, I get those exact same little weeds. The brown spot is bug damage I think.

yeah those sprouts psycked me out for a long time because if you leave them they frost up like a pot plant...but they are nothing to keep!Just a waste of root space so pull um out with no regrets!

....but what about the brown holes? --- only one person responded to that question and the response was 'bugs'.. does any one else agree with him? or no?

no way man the rest of the plants fine, it would have many other parts chewed on it if it was bugs....i say it had some soil problems because of those pine needles or maybe something else...My vote: NOT BUGS but deficiancy of nutes and or maybe those pine needles!ONce again tho, just a guess!

no it most likely could be gnats because they lay their eggs in the soil but has anyone ever had a little shroom grow up from the soil??
