xbox live down for anyone else?

I can't connect to xbox live. Let my sister borrow my blueray, so I'm without netflix and hulu plus in the room until this shit connects.

nope turns out to my ISP's problem. Microsoft wouldn't leave an opening in a default installation of apache that allows access to every single one of their customers data, shut down their entire network down for like 2 months or some shit, bring it back up again just to be hacked the same day. That's just Sony.

Not too mention 17 of Sonys other services websites within a week LAWL. Security fail.

You can get on here but not on live?
Did you try testing your connection? Maybe you have to download that update that came out a couple days ago.

I was on my macbook, my ISP was doing some maintenance so for some reason port 3047 was getting blocked. It freed up about 10 minutes ago but now my wife is asleep :(

lol im sorry i was watching a blue-ray.......then i decided to talk to you through my ps3 i might just throw away my laptop........thats the first time play station dropped the ball in over 15 years ive never had a ps, ps2, ps3 die on me ither
 
my netflix was down the other day brandon, like 2 days ago i think. i know what you mean about being spoiled watching it on your TV, i don't even really want to watch anything on my laptop now.
 
i haven't used my xbox in 2 days. it's a miracle. i want to go to gamestop and get somehing new but i am broke...

The Xbox has a better GPU. and when it come to putting images on the screen the GPU is all that matters.

You will rebutted but the ps3 had a better cpu. well that is because it has a Blu-ray media and has to read 4x the data on a 25Gb Blu-ray disk. but in the end it all gets processed buy the GPU.

The ps3 crams all this data thru a small "256 MB GDDR 3RAM " versus Xbox's "512 MB GDDR3 RAM "Gpu . Both cpu's over flow the GPU with data so the graphics are 2x as good on a Xbox 360 elite.

The ps3 has a faster loading screen because of its better ram, but until they gets better GPU they will not get my money
 
ive played black opps on both systems never noticed a diff...........i guess im dye hard cus ive had PS my since i was a kid and nothing tops the PS3 controller.......xbox controller give me thumb cramps lol.......AND I CAN MAKE MOLECULES ON MY PS3....... dont know what good it dose but looks pretty cool ha
