Greetings all...
So I am at the end of week 3 at 12/12 for a dozen Northern Lights in soil. Aside from some very minor nute burn they all appear to be thriving. All bud sites are nice blobs of white hairy goodness except for a few. My question pertains to these few. One is a main cola that extends a half an inch above the canopy which appears to be more dense and yellow and seems to have slowed in its growing. I would think it could be radiant burn from the lights but I have a temp. reader that hangs canopy level and it stays below 82 at all times. So what is it? When I did an initial search on "yellow flowers" there is evil hermie talk but i have no sacs or pistils what so ever. And as far as that plant is concerned all the bud sites below it look normal. (Yummy white furballs of heaven). One thing to note is that the small leaves that circle this node point have slight browning on the edges....
Now it would seem that it would have to be heat burn because if the highest cola of the crop has it and nothing below it does than its just logical. But there are a few other bud sites that have similar 'yellowing' occuring that are significantly lower in the canopy and on diferent plants nonetheless. Please excuse the unneccesarily long post and perhaps ive talked in circles but what exactly is my issue and should I just chop these bud sites now to allow better penetration to the colas below?
