That's likely the issue.

I was doing the same but about 3wks in would get cal/mag issues so now I'm using straight tap (my municipal water supply uses chlorine).

I only sit the water out if I remember to, I'm trying to have a couple gallon jugs ready all the time.

Check your local water supply for it water testing data if you're gonna use the tap water.

If you use the distilled, you have to supplement the micro nutrients that have been stripped out of it.

I know I got soft water and it dose have chlorine In it so I sit it out for 4 to 7 days

So is the cal mag all I need for the distilled Water don't know where I can get it I live in the sticks around nothing I got no cash on my card and can't order it

And will any kind of cal mag work kuz lows carries it just not the Botanicare Cale mag plus

Epsom salts from walmart does the same thing.
