I've attached a few pictures to give you a good idea of the issue I'm having. My plants are four weeks from seed. The first sets of leaves are getting yellow spots and slowly dying. A couple of the plants are getting droopy - if you compare the plant on the left [front] to the plant on the right [back], you'll see the difference. Could it be that those plants didn't get enough water? It happened a few days ago, and after I watered them they sprang back, but after a couple days they started to look sad again. Temperature, light, exhaust and internal circulation should all be good. I haven't started feeding them yet - The soil I'm using claims to have enough nutrients for the first 30 days [they've been in the soil for 17]. Anyone who can help me troubleshoot this problem will be rewarded in High Heaven.
Another question: This is my first indoor grow - I've grown magnificent plants in buckets outdoors without using any nutrients during the plants' cycles - do indoor crops need more nutrients than outdoor crops?

I had(still have a lil bit) the exact same kindda problem and I DID GROW outside many times and this is my first grow inside too. OK first DON'T GET FOOLED when you water your plants they stand back up. If you water them every day they'll straighten themselve up but thats not necessarily a good thing. From what I have experienced so far with my 23 plants there are several thing that could cause the droopiness problem:
Over watering EVERY BODY KNOWS THAT.
I realized that when fan is blowing at the plants too strong those plants tent to look droopier than others.
During the light cycle my plants get droopy and when dark they come right back up.
THE MOST IMPORTANT PROB:::::: ROOT BOUND. I had the droopiest plant in a little cup, the moment I put it in a alot bigger pot it took only an hour or 2 to look normal. I c ur pots r kindda small, look at the bottom see how much roots u got coming out, if you decided to transplant DON'T GO WITH ANYTHING SMALLER THAN A 5 GALLON POT(if u got the space ofcourse) MARIJUANA plants root in days. I first had mine in a cup then put them in a 2.5 gallon bucket, took 4 days, I swear 4 days then I saw bunch of roots hanging out of the bottom of the pot. What happens is roots get over crowded in the bottom and you won't have the sufficient drainage so roots stay in water with NO OXIGEN and Leaves and Ultimately branches start looking droopy. 5 Gallon pot is a way to go, besides that the more space u have in the pot, the more roots will grow, the more roots You have the bigger yield U'll get. As far as your bottoms leaves goes, dont trip out too much bcs I had the exact same problem, those leave slowly(very slowly fell and thing went back too normal without any effort. Also when you start fertilizing Ur plants try not to get that water on ur bottom leaves. On occasions Leaves burn from the water poured on top of them. And Yes from what I've learned so far You should fert Both indoor and outdoor plants. I did fert my outdoors but no specific fertilizer but it worked fine, But now I've seen what FOXFARM fertilizers do. HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE difference. Very pricy BUT absolutely worth it.. check out my post If you got a chance
