Yellowing Leaves

First timer having some growth issues. First I suppose a bit of info.

The strain is Super Silver Haze, she is about 46 days old. She's a greenhouse grow, potted in BioBizz Light Mix. At the moment using Fish Mix, Root Juice and Alg A Mic from the BioBizz range. I have been building up feed concentration over the last 3 weeks from roughly half recommended doses to full.

Soil Ph is roughly 6-6.5.

Watering schedule is random due to fluctuations in the weather. However, I would say usually 350 ml every other day and has been fed with every watering.

So now the issues, about 3 weeks in, one fan leaf started developing these brown spots, the spots weren't just discolouration they were thinning out the leaf in that area. I didn't really know what it was, but thought I would just keep my eye on it. There was no other discolouration or damage to the leaf other than these brow spots.

Fast forward two weeks, the same leaf had started to discolour, turning yellow. I initially thought it was a cal/mag deficiency because the discoloration looked intravenal. So I began using a supplement to address. Over the last two weeks, discolouration continued, one leaf is now almost completely yellow with the second fan leaf on the same node and some lower, younger vegetation also showing the same symptoms.

I have moved back to the draft board and now am thinking it may be a nitrogen deficiency. Yesterday I increased feed concentration and volume, so we'll see how the increased nitrogen goes.

Looking really for some opinions on generally, what shape do people think she is in? As this is my first grow, not sure what I should expect at this point in the grow. Secondly, looking for some second opinions on what the discolouration issues may be.

Thanks all.

Woah. Just re read your post. Why would you feed it more. It looks fine. Now your overacting on nothing. Sit down relax. From the looks. It’s healthy and growing. Those are your old younger leaves and perfectly normal and natural. Not every leaf will stay green the entire time. As long as all your newer growth is fine and there is no spread of any discoloration. No rusting/burning. Or overwatering. You’ll be just fine. Good job

I need way more than you just said that man. You gotta help us help you. By the looks of it. Your plant seems fine. I don’t see a spread. But I could be wrong. Better pics?

This was solved a couple of days after posting but thought I would update for anyone that should come across this post in the future and have similar issues.

This was a magnesium deficiency and was solved by adding a bit of Epsom salt to the grow medium and watering in. I took it easy adding epsom salts as didn't want to end up with too high of a concentration of magnesium and end up inhibiting calcium uptake. I added a teaspoon to the medium and watered in with a litre of water and usual feed. I am growing in a 10 litre pot, so this should give some kind of indication as to ratio that worked for me.

Pictures showing the various stages. By stage (picture) 3, you can really see the interveinal chlorosis (yellowing) which lead me to believe it was a mag def. After a day of watering in Epsom salts, yellowing of older fan leaves ceased and after about a week of stunted growth, within the next week had put on about 7cm of new growth.

Your mediums ph is probably just staying in the high 6 range, some micronutrients need lower ph to be used, iron etc. Are absorbed at 5.4 and lower. Some absorbed as high as 6.8 at low end. I get dyoff from bottom up when ph running high, wont hurt plant too much in end if left as is. Lowering ph now and then doesnt hurt either. There are charts of what nute is absorbed at what ph, check it out and draw own conclusion please. I dont see it as huge issue at this time, but a lockout would change my view quickly. Best of luck. Grow on!
