Yet another LOWRYDER sexing question

Hello! This is about a certain person's theoretical FIRST grow or something...
Anyway, these are Lowryder #1, one was planted a week earlier than the others (wanted to do a test for seed germination). Its about a month old but no idea about sex, can't see balls or white hairs... It should be flowering by now (lowryder 1 at week 4!). Please tell me what you think.

Lowryder is an autoflower strain, there is no need to switch to 12/12.When it starts showing preflowers you will know wether it is male or female and if you dont know what to look for there are lots of great pics here on riu about the topic. Little ball with 2 white hairs female, balls = male

Its 4 weeks old. I heard LR starts flowering at week 3 though, but i'm not sure whats going on with it. I've looked at tons of pictures of male/female and I guess I just don't know what to look for (besides balls and white hairs, of which i see neither yet).

Here is another pic of the plant in question (on the left). Also, here is another, younger plant I have the same problem with (about 3 weeks old, right pic).

It seems from the pics that its not flowering yet..
LRs/LR2 and the other LR hybrids USUALLY flower between 17days male, and 22+ days for females, but there are always exceptions.
I grow lots of LR/LR2 and my own LR base hybrids, and to be honest hombre from what can be seen in the pics, it loks a lil leggy...Mine tend to have quite tight nodes and alot more foliage than that after a month.. heres a pic of one of my auto ECSD X LR2 thats 23 days old, every one of these i've grown has pretty much identical characteristics to the LR1/LR2 strains....looks alot different to you pic huh??

Altho Lr#1 grow taller than LR2 etc, they should still be a lil more lush than the one in the pic appears..
What light is being used?
If its under HPS, (thats how i grow mine)it could just be a retarded plant, or maybe one of the other growing conditions is off, which is delaying flowering.
I have noticed in the past, that if you try to grow these using a setup comprising of ALL daylight CFLs 6500k, they will grow pretty poorly, and tend to be a lot slower than those grown under a setup with all Warm white 2700k cfls.
Ideal conditions seem to be an 80% 2700k / 20% 6500k mix of bulbs.
Also does it have the necessary Nutes available?? LR strains REALLY benefit from bloom booster nutes, just dont get over zealous, because they dont like real high level of nutes.
more a case of little and often.

Dont give up on it yet..
just check the ph,administer bloom nutes, ensure it has adequate lighting, good air circulation.
Ok, last coupla points, LRs really dont like being too wet, so make sure they get time to dry off a lil inbetween waterings also LRs like to dive deep in their pots, shallow pots can sometimes issues with this strain too.

hope thats a help.

1st pic is of reg LR fem 21 days (this had just shown sex that morning)
2nd is auto ECSD x LR2 fem 22 days
3rd is same auto ECSD x LR2 fem 24days - 60 days flowering left before harvest.
4th pic not sure if y can see reall well, but its filled with calyxs
Ps, they may see reasonably short now, but these things rocket up once they start budding.

Wow thanks frosty!
I have a very very very small space to grow, and I only have 2 cfl, one is red the other is white. They are about 7 inches tall each. I'm living abroad right now and I don't know where in the world I can buy good lights... or even what they are called here. due to paranoia i'd rather not say which country, but needless to say if i were caught, well, I'd rather not think about it... my chances of being caught are mighty slim for my situation though and i have quite a stealth setup. . .
I have been using a liquid fert, but I flushed them after my plants started turning yellow (that was about a week ago). After i fertilized them they also seemed to stunt their growth too, I guess I was using way too much...
I don't even know where in the world i could get a pH test kit either, but I'm still trying to find one.
Anyway, I might go buy another light or two tomorrow, I think they just aren't getting enough (that may have been the problem with yellowing all along).
Anyway, I'll make a new post, maybe, if I can fix them. I really can't wait to see what they'll look like in a couple weeks! But i guess its impossible to hope for an 8 week harvest now.
Needless to say this has been a great learning experience regardless and I really hope I end up with at least one male and the rest female so i can get some more seeds, and I hope my biggest plants end up being females! The one is the back is a runt, and the smallest one is only a couple weeks old.
Notice my setup totally sucks, but its the best I can come up with out here for now....
Any suggestions welcome! And I've learned a lot from reading these forums. Thanks all

No worries..
Just checked out the pic and you dont have anywhere near enough light for 1 plant let alone 4...So yeah bro, ya need to get more lights in there asap.
also, each CFL needs to be 1 to 2" away from the canopy of each plant...ideally you need a minimum of 6 additional warm white CFLs...try to get the ghighest wattage poss...but anything between 20-42W will work, altho if you go with 20w bulbs you will need another one or two....and this is for minimal requirements!!
I have a seperate mini grow cabinet that is 18" x 18" x 22"high for my seedlings before they go under the HPS, and that cabinet consists of 6 x 26w warm white 2x 42w daylight 6500k and a CFL floodlight fix in the lid that holds 1x 25w warm white 4pin PLC and 1x 25w Daylight 6500k 4pin PLC bulbs..and it does a real nice job of raising seedlings and small plants...i have grown an LR2 in there a while ago and pulled 1.5 Oz from it.
Neednt worry about the utility bills too much, you can run around 150w of CFL without it really having an impact on your bill.

Most garden stores, or pet stores will sell PH testing eqipment of some sort, whether it be litmus paper /capsules or those digital meters...As alot o people use them for aquariums and pond equipment, as well as general gardening.

You can still administer Nutes, just dont Exceed 1/2 dosage...and try to see what its NPK levels are....if in doubt, try to find some Tomorite or similar tomato plant fert. they work ok but once again, 1/2 dose is a max.
Molasses will help too. 1 tsp to a litre of water. gives a big shot of carbs to the plant.

Went out and bought a few 150 wt cfls today! After reading some other cfl grows, i think i'm quite lucky they got as big as they did with only two! I'll keep it updated.
