Yield smells like grass...no taste.

Had a plant harvest, was very small about 10grams.
I cannot remember the exact strain i think it may have been fruit punch.
It was obvious from the look of the plant and the small yield that something had gone wrong. However I carried it on just for the sake of it, dried it, cured it and I have had a couple smokes and it doesn't taste anything like weed and doesn't taste like anything. When I open the glass Jar it smells a lot like grass from a field. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and do you know what could have caused it? Just out of interest.

-Early harvested bud
-leaving a dead plant under an hid
-shitty phenotypes
-deficient grows
-over-dried before jared
-under-dried before jared
-improperly cured
-spider mites
-mold

Was watered regularly...had a friend look after them for 2 weeks whilst I was away. So could have been neglected then.

To be totally honest nothing about the bud smells like weed or tastes like weed I think I will give it another week curing before I go near it again...otherwise it will be going in the bin...it's that bad haha

Uummm. The hay smell should have went away around day 3-4 of drying and dankness or fruity or whatever appeared.

My experience with hay is:
Too much N last part of grow.
Chopped in light: mid/late day cycle.
Dried to fast.
Buds not dense enough and over dry in a day.
Wet trimmed.
(not in any order)

And of course the obivious: Genetics, grower errors, all the othe sheet spl said...

Looking at his plant it was VERY green it seemed to me. Maybe it's me
