Yo with some lighting, lol

So I'm just looking to grow 1-4 plants (I have 4 seeds in pots right now, who have yet to sprout cause they just went into today, as you all know, statiscally, two will be girls.)

Anyway, I wanna run T5 floros the whole way through, even through the flowering stage. I'm just lookin for plants about 1-2 feet tall, with some decent bud. How many floros should i use for this?

for 2 plants under some floros i dont think you can get decent buds. when i was using my floros i vegged for 3 weeks and they only grow like 3 inches then i put em under my 400w mh and they grew like 1 inch every other day. well anyways its kinda like a waste of fuckin time

Well, I currently dont have the funds for any sort of MH or HPS lighting sorces, which is why im using T5s and CFLS...my friend's been vegging his plant under two sets of t5s for the past month and a half and it's now about 4 feet tall, his last crop he did under all floros and got nice buds...not the hugest, like with MH, but they were great...but I wanted to ask some of the more experienced on here...thanks though, I'll be looking into MH or HPS for my hydrophonic grow I'll be doing after this crop.

My mistake, it was after 2 and 1/2-3 months(growth cycle for 4 foot plant)...and idk, he had 3 sets of T5s and 3 CFLS...obviously they weren't their max potential, but they werent bad at all.

if you aint got funds for a mh light go out and swipe one. those lights are all over. look around factorys or climb a billboard. believe me i see them all the time

yeah lol my mate swiped a 1000w HPS (possibly MH) light from the ski-slope by me.. funny shit

I use t-5's for my seeding and vegging stages, and my plants can and have reached 4-6 feet. But I don't use T-5's for flowering. A good friend of mine does however use T-5's all the way through, and he get's descent bud. But he does the SOG (sea of green) grow method. 4-8 plants = 2 t-5's for SOG method.

Floros should only be used for clones and mother plants, you will get very little bud. Your next step up should be a least a 250watt hps light...

I use the t5's but only for clones and vegging. I revert back to the good ole hps 400 watter for flowering. You can't get the same big tight buds without GOOD lighting. Don't say you can't afford it. This can make all the difference between an okay harvest and an great harvest.

Well the lighting and you testing your liquids for the ph levels, keeping your room at the correct temps and using the right fertilizers at the right strengths.

and Blaze...i dont have a local hydro shop, this is a small ass hicktown and i hate it...Asheville's really close, they have headshops and shit, but i haven't seen a hydro shop...



but my cousin who i just met for the first time this weekend's a pot head and is buying me shit from a hydro shop where she lives and just givin it to me cause well, she's got money, and loves pot, so ya know...lol
