would it outyield a 1000w SE fixture?

all 3 are 1000w im curious... which one would outyield which considering all others factors the same. LED fixture will most likely require much less cooling.
Well it being an ACTUAL 1K wattage light and true LM301b/h diodes with added Osram reds, yeah... Fuckin destroy a 1k DE no question

lol all you LED fanatics probably got the biggest hard on for the 1000w Meijiu LED octopus

im still debating whether to replace my de hps for either the 1000w fixture i linked

or this

the 2 heatsinks on the 1000w Meijiu kinda turned me off on it. So im thinking ill go with the 650w up top

have you been quoted for shipping? for these big packages from shenzen its probably like 200-300 bucks.

better to just get the real deal instead of the bootleg imo if youre gonna be dropping 800-1000 you can get a light thats listed made in USA with a warranty.

also that claim of 4.32 umol/J at 1000w has gotta be bogus

ya you might be right. but theres a few users on here that can vouch for the 650w Meijiu bar..... so I'll take the chance with that one.

dunno about this 1000w LED octopus it does seem unrealistic but who knows til someone bites the dust here and tries it out lol.

I cant do the DIY kits either so thats also out of the question.

if u want 1000w heres one made in USA for 1069 edit: this is only 800w but still a ton of light

probably about what you would pay for the meiju + shipping. listed and certified and 5 year warranty. there are plenty of others around this price range too. personally i think 600w of LED is plenty in a 4x4 though. i run 480w in 4x4 myself.

I'm curious, are companies like this building their own strips from raw Samsung diodes or are these already manufactured strips? And why does this company and others like HLG never tell how many diodes are being used?

my guess would be they buy the strips but i have no idea, but HLG does say how many diodes are on their boards theyre named after it ie. 288 has 288 diodes 648 has 648, 96 has 96. the 650r has (4) 648 boards so 2592 + the reds

Are you trying to get a Premium led with guaranteed warranty, top-bin Samsung + Osram with MeanWell drivers? 380-740nm full spectrum from a legit company for under a $G. 4x4-5x5 coverage Bar-light?

HLG Always tells how many diodes if you bother to look at the specs, hell its part of the name of their boards! QB 288............. 288 LM301h LEDs... And I'd take one of their l;ights over anyones. You'll find no company better to do business with than HLG and their customer service is the best.

And fuck all that low end Chinese shit!. I want to see someone have to ship this hulk back to China for repair....... Remember where Alibaba got its name.... and it ain't 40 thieves it's 40,000 thieves!
