You will be buying from...

For those of us choosing to buy from a licensed producer in April, I'm wondering which company you will be buying from and why.

Peace Naturals looks to have 13 strains right now but so many of them are sold out it makes me wonder what availability will be like once the new rules kick in. Tweed says they will have over 25 strains and will offer free shipping.

Does anything look promising out there?

inb4 the first angry "I won't be buying from anyone" comment pops up lol.

If and when Im forced to join...I will be buying from Kootney Girl. As much as Im an asshole to her, i would still be her patient before any of these other buffoons.

I have not been impressed with any of LP's so far. Sadly I will probably have to enroll in this retarded program eventually. I am refusing to until the absolute last possible minute though. Who knows maybe we'll have a favorable court decision at the eleventh hour. That being said out of the available LP's right now I will probably hold off for some more information. I'm intrigued by Canna Farms, seem to have a nice selection of strains and claim they have access to over 60 more depending on patients needs/wants. I won't make a complete judgment until there is more information from them and their product has been released though. They are the lesser of the evils for me so far. Bedrocan and CanniMed both irradiate product, fat chance i'm smoking that radioactive shit. Mettrum uses some ridiculous color coding with only like 5 strains, fail. Peace Naturals seem to have nothing but supply and customer service issues, sorry but I want a reliable source of meds. Tweed are corporate tools with ridiuclous hopes for this program, fuck them. Process of elimination doesn't leave much choice.

grow your own like always and never support unjust laws. in court we will win and all these new money hungry LP will go bankrupt which will look good on harper. anybody that follows the LP the government will screw you in the end especially when court upholds a judges 2000 ruling

The MMPR is unconstitutional and we will get a win in court on March 18th. I have not seen any LP I would consider doing business with as making a living from sick people who are FORCED customers is just wrong and I question the character of anyone who would stoop to that level of greed.

got to agree with Doobi... Kootenaygirl may get my biz so far.....that's IF I ever stop producing my own meds.
I've sat back and read in quiet, agree with some points but not others.
however I do have respect for her in some strange way

this pot snob aint buying from any of the current buffoon LP's
after years of sourcing and growing my own meds i'm expected to go "generic" .... i'm actually tempted to cry

The court case is not one to be won or lost. Best case is an injunction to prevent the MMAR from being entirely phased out for a while. It doesnt have a chance to 'repeal' the MMPR until it goes to court in mid summer.

I will be buying from No one...and I have a reason....I was poisoned by someone else's pot back in 2005/6
and ended up having open heart surgery to correct the damage done......that's right 7 hours on a heart- lung machine.....
No fun at all.....
needless to say you really can't trust anyone but yourself in this matter....cause if you do.....you may pay the price.
so its back to fentanyl and perc's for me.....

Wow! That really sucks. You are the first person I've heard of that got sick from crappy pot. I am genuinely interested in this topic. Given that fact I would have thought you would have been more amenable to the new program with all the qc that's supposed to be in place. Those are some nasty meds to be going back to after how long off them? I feel for ya!

The pot itself was probably ok it was what the dealer was spraying onto it to get me addicted that got my heart
to stop.....so do I trust black market..?? my doctor even drug tests me regularly to make sure it does not happen again....
since I have been doing my own thing this past year and now have 3 grows under my belt...the doctor only finds MJ now
with no additives so to speak....I'm trying on purpose not to say what they used so that, someone else(dealer), does not get the idea to try it with their customers.
Been off most of the pain meds since 2006 but added mj back in around 2010....when I couldn't take the pain any longer...
I'm all for quality control.....but for me personally....no one else can make the judgement on what is acceptable growing practice now....
especially if money is concerned.....

This is so funny..I just started to flower my 3rd grow as well. I secretly enjoy tending to my little garden, but sometimes it is a bit too much work for me. I wouldn't tell anyone either. I am still coming off the morphine. I started in Sept. 2012 and I'm below 200mg a day finally. I am really having a difficult time with withdrawal symptoms everytime there is a dosage drop. So the doc is going really slow. I probably have another 6 months to go. I feel so much better,mentally, coming off it...almost like I can think clearly again. I lost about 10 years that I honesly don't know what really went on because I was so messed up on those pilles. I will not go back to that.

I love the gardening aspect to my meds as well.....sorta keeps me moving... and I was enjoying taking pictures from the middle of my garden once they all peaked
the 6 foot mark...outdoors...you could sit in the middle and it was very relaxing....surreal
though Its way too much work....for me...my wife noticed... how much effort it took.....especially the harvest...
I got three kids in university etc.....I simply can't afford my prescription if I have to buy....so back to the 6 dollar co-pays for percocet.....
I remember vividly coming off percs and fentanyl last time......sucked the big one...sounds like the doctors taking it down slow to try and transition you to as little as possible...
that's a good thing for sure.....keep at it....

Im so glad I never tried to sign up for mmj. It just seems so much easier to grow your own than to deal with these jumping through all these hoops. I also dont like the idea of being on "record" if your part of the program and them knowing who potentially is growing.

i know cannadan back to the percs for me too not looking forward not being able to shit and being a zombie again.. maybe i could afford to buy from an LP to try and take less pills but to continue taking no pills like i have been will cost more than i can afford..and risking jail time is a big no no with the wife lol

None of us are looking forward to whats coming.....
