Your girl's ever get too tall?

Riu, If my plants double in height during flower my light will run out of hanging distance. I 12/12 them right at preflower. I'm a week in, they are 2.5ft, 3.5ft if you include the pot. My ceiling I'm guessing is 8ft. It may be close. Strain is Blue Blood by Medicann Seeds. Peace

If they get too tall, super crop them

I think you'll be ok unless you're running full nute schedule and they're handling it without tox or lockout based on tox... if all else fails though, you can Monstercrop, or Supercrop as 2shim mentioned.

advice I can give to you...if you have limited space and you've just started 12/12, then LST the hack out of them, try to tie them down like there's no tomorrow and give them what they like , don't do it after week 2 of flowering thou. So...search on the forum for LST, FIM and combine the 2 techniques...and by the way, the plants will not double in size...they will more then triple or more...depending on your strain also

LTS them or super crop

yup supercrop and tie em down is all you can do. last year i had a plant that was 3ft before flowering and then jumped up to 6.5 feet, i had to tie it back 6 inches so it wouldnt grow over the fence. i couldnt super crop cus the stems were already woody and wouldnt snap and did more damage to my fingers when i tried than to the plant lol.

The longer veg period, usually the less stretch.

2.5ft tall says to me around 10weeks of veg?

You'll be lucky if they stretch to 4ft tall.

Keep a higher N nutrient for at least the 2 week transition, keep day and night temps as close as possible to no more than 5F drop and this should help limit stretching also.
