I must agree, Acapulco is WAY underated. Im about to the conclusion that all these new fancy cross breeds arent really all that snazzy. Ive had some serious stability issues among even the same mothered clones, in a few of these fancy strains. I think maybe that introducing all these and giving them special names, has a lot to do with plain and simple marketing. I mean hell, Im loving my Acapulco Gold, but still, that doesnt make me have to buy more beans. Now, if I want the new "strawberry kush afghan diesel berry ryder", I'll have to BUY more beans because its new.
You're going to LOVE the Acapulco. It has such a wild fruity smell and flavor. Almost to the point of perfum, but NOT! The nugs stay so dense, and the trichs look like powdered sugar. Everyone KNOWS this is a very special kind, when I open the bag to pack a bowl. So freaking distinctly unique, noone argues that it's a winner, just by smell alone. The buzz is really good too! Cant underestimate the power of recognition either. Hasnt everyone heard of Acapulco Gold by now?
Anyhow, Youre going to quite simply love AG, if you can get her dialed in just right. Once you get a rockin mom, you'll grow them forever with ease. Yup, Ive just about quite bothering with the fancy strains altogether. Sure, I'll grow a random set on occassion, but unless youve got time to kill, and plenty of backstock to smoke.... stick with the solid, non-fancy, old school varieties. Theres a good damn reason the old school is STILL around. Reliability and quality perhaps? Happy growing to ya!!
