Your Top 10 Seed Companies / Fav Strains and why ???

Looking on seedfinder i see there are around 200 seed companies/breeders with over 2000 strains availble to buy ..

many would say that alot of these strains are pointless and are copies or reworkings of the same genetics over and over

growing all of them would be pretty much impossible and possibly pointless so i have made a short list over the years of the companies i am interested in

i have managed to narrow it down from over 200 to 10 seed companies listed below with some strains they are known for

if anyone has experiences with any strains from these seed companies below i would appreciate the input / or any short lists you folk are working through ..

i would be interested to hear which companies you have had the best results with
which have given genetics most like the descriptions .. taking into consideration phenotype differences etc etc :bigjoint:

Breeders Choice isnt a breeder, its a section on the Sannie shop...
The breeder is E$koB@r...<---- all of E$koB@r seeds are great, and 10packs are $30-
Tga Subcool is good too, 5 packs $50- but you wont need to stray far from the 5 pack....
Dont buy reeferman seeds...
Delta-9 is good too and a good price...

Delta 9 Do a brilliant white widow. Its Widow X PP/Widow and if you get this seasons batch its WW/PP/WW X WW
They say its an old Widow so Im guessing thier using the A98 pheno??? Who knows but its a nice widow. I was toking a freinds over the weekend.

OGORG are good genetics British :) . I aint grown any but I ad a cut of OT1s ESBxHW before my 2008 visit it was alike if not better than your best C99 cut.

These are my favorites that I've grown out

East Coast Sour Diesel - Got this clone from a buddy years and years ago, I have no idea where he got this cut from. This one has the most positive "get up and do shit effect", not sure if the other "sour diesels" will be like it or not it's worth a shot i would say.

Dead head OG - It's got a similar flavor to ECSD, you can definitely tell that they're related, the effect is more lethargic which i'm not crazy about, good all in all

Black Domina - Got this as a clone from the same buddy that got me ECSD. This one is still available through Sensi Seeds. The effect is incredibly narcotic and powerful, it also finishes in fourty five days which is phenomenal if you want a quick turn around. I gain about ten to twenty pounds after I finish a run each time because all I do is sleep and eat. I like to smoke this one mostly when I build up a tolerance to ECSD.

Identify what you like when you get high, use that as a basis to pick seeds ie; I'm in love with ECSD so I like to try and order seeds that are related to just to see what I can get ahold ofbongsmilie

chocolate rain is beyond bomb, my number one strain to date.. incredible smell and taste not to mention high are what you get with this strain.. really top notch stuff... i'm growing chocolate rain x amnesia haze, a freebie from sannies atm, and can't wait to see how they turn out..

bog has some really bomb gear as well.. i just got done growing his sour strawberry kush, and it's a lovely lovely strain.. taste is out of this world strawberry, and the high is very nice as well.. have a few other things from bog as well that i need to get to growing as well..

just grew some pre98 bubba kush from cali con in my last grow, and it's super dank, incredible taste again, and very potent on top of it ... not the best yielder but hard to beat for a head stash imo..

yeh raceyboy i still want chocolate rain it sounds great

since making that list i added a few breeders and changed my mind many times , with so many strains out there its so hard to choose
after much thought, recommendations and research, and changing my mind again many times in the end i went with
for my next seed run in a few weeks

blues (killerskunk x blues) from underground orignals,
biker kush (HA-OG bx ) from karma genetics,
eisbaer (the white x snowdawg) from alphakronik

UGORG has some awesome strains!!!
Have some KillerSkunk going right now. Really robust plants, easy to grow. Reminds me of Serious Seeds, if anyone has grown their gear.
I'm going to pop a pack of Smile here in a few weeks.
Not many people know about URORG!

yeh m8, they are not so well known, i have been wanting to try something from UGORG for quite some time, blues seemed like the best choice
i understand the breeder has been working with the blues cutting (an old sensi seed skunk1 apparently) with many of his strains, blues is the closest to the original sofar in seed, from the pictures i have seen of other people growing it, looks like a good yield too .. i have high hopes for the blues :)

the biker kush, looks very nice too, i am expecting this one to be quite tall from the pics i have seen, and a good yield too looks quite similar to the flav i have growing at the moment , i wanted something that represented the og kush closely, and this one claims to be a very heavy kush pine-sol flavour

eisbaer looks great too, lots of resin, i wanted some genes that used (the white) i went with this in the end

all of these strains i have chosen are supposed to be very potent, hopefully ill get lucky :)

Ive been thinking about getting a "Blues" for a lil while now...
I have settled on UGORG... looks very good...
Im sure ull end up with some very nice plants...

i ONLY like getting high, so 90% of the crap out there, even better than average hybrids like blueberry & skunk #1 just annoy me in the long run. i can't wait to test all the new gear i've got in the works, particularly jacks cleaner 2 & thai skunk, but these are my favorites so far:

haze x skunk: high quality seeds so far, it's the trippiest strain i've smoked since the 80s when everything turned stony BS on the streets. it wasn't quite as visual or auditory as REAL columbian gold maybe, but it is definitely more potent and probably longer lasting. NOT a fan of the slight cigar wrapper with hints of ashtray flavor, but it definitely gets me high. when i had some last year, it got me to stop drinking and on a diet. sadly, right now i've put the weight back on and started drinking again because i have nothing to get high on. i'll have some more again soon though. i hope their thai skunk is comparable. it scores nicely on psychoactivity but excellent on motivation & euphoria

8 miles high: mandala it's not the most potent strain and not even available again until '13, but it was the very first NAMED strain i'd smoked since around 85 when indicrap invaded and took over like mutant cockroaches. it's not the most potent strain, but it has great euphoria with a perfectly neutral energy level that's totally stone free, but isn't racy or edgy either. it likes music & dancing more than haze skunk i'd say as after just 2 hits, i was doing the robot on it. it's a perfect 24/7 strain that does no wrongs as far as i'm concerned

super cali haze it smokes so much like pure haze i couldn't tell a difference. it has a DELICIOUS grapey taste and a mildly psychoactive high with superior euphoria & motivation. it's very high class. i rate it lower than 8 miles because it's expensive, takes longer to grow and is only available feminized, but it's a little more potent and exotic. it's my favorite "connoisseur strain".

C99: joey weed you can't get it anymore sadly, but it's an awesome strain. it's a little more clearheaded and hard to sit still on like a mellower version of kali mist, but to get a bud that DOESN'T get you stoned, has a mildly grapey haze pheno and that takes just 45 days indoors is awesome! the energetic buzz is too specific for chilling out, but perfect for activities and work with a nice dose of euphoria too like "textbook C99" only with grapes instead of pineapple flavor. i think apollo 11 would probably be better, but haven't tried that yet. mosca & bodhi are making C99 & A11 now that sound closer to the original grimm phenos. they were both sold out the last time i looked

kali mist: serious seeds it's not the same strain now. the original lip burning hot crushed red pepper flavor (DELICIOUS!!!!) has been replaced by a blander wussy friendly "spicy fruit" flavor according to someone i recently compared notes with, but it still has the same clear headed off the charts euphoric & motivational buzz that's impossible to sit still on, but perfect for running marathons on. i LOVE the buzz and after the FIRST 10 years of indicrap contempt with NOTHING that even comes close to getting you high, i gave up bidding at $120 for an eight of it, but like mellower C99 it's just too racy for 24/7 use. it's ONLY for activities where other strains that get you high let you kick back to tunes or watch movies and that even add psychoactivity that heightens your senses and makes the experience more visceral. kali & cindy make your mind & body race without clouding your brain. that kicks getting stoned's ass 100x around the block before taking a shit on in every day in my book.

durban poison i don't know who the breeder was, but when i was gifted a gram of that a month or two before the kali mist gift, i was REALLY stoked! it was a really nice high. not as potent as real gold maybe, but not shabby at all. i tried to score some weight of that too, but not as enthusiastically as it's authentic black licorice taste and the dry heaves (poison?) it inspired are NOT my favorites (diesel & cat piss are more vile though) but it was totally worth enduring for the otherwise impossible to find high you just can't get on the streets unless you kiss everyone's ass you meet 24/7 until you find gear from that 1/100 grower whose SUPERIOR gear never makes it to the streets, particularly in NY. i'd rather smoke durban and get a couple minutes worth of dry heaves for every toke and actually get high than ANY BULLSHIT i've wasted money on since the 80s! ironically, every RARE time i've smoked something better i didn't DIY like kali mist, it's always been a FREEBIE that i couldn't score weight for no matter how much i beg & plead. that shit is beyond fucked up and a sad commentary on just how fucking greedy the streets are

there are a few "better than average" strains out there like skunk #1, blueberry, LSD & lemon skunk that have varying unimpressive levels of stone i'd list, but i know there are plenty of other strains i haven't experienced first hand yet like thai skunk, jack's cleaner 2, C99 x A11 & maybe jack herer that are much better and that truly get you high. i'll take a pissweak high over ANY stone any day!

i can't wait to test new gear that has no stone and trippier highs. i'm not holding my breath on columbian gold x NL#5 or a couple other sativa crosses with 25% or more indicrap, but i'll try anything once in search of a better stone

i see a lot of controversy regarding greenhouse, but next year i'll give them at least one chance with their lemon haze i got as a freebie a couple months ago. i don't want to gamble on the dreaded greenhouse hermie thing though now as i want to get a clean breeding session knocked out 1st so i have spare beans to test and pick & chose from. the plan this year is to breed everything to a C99 x A11 male to try and speed some of the slower strains up.

what i REALLY want to try is the pure tutti fruity thai of the full moons i have left, but that will only be when i have enough of a stash to give it all of the attention it needs. there is a lot of great stuff out there by many breeders, but there just aren't enough people growing it to get the word out. even though i don't like the tase so much, i love haze x skunk. it's a wicked potent high, but ANY strain that doesn't turn you into a coma patient is fine by me.

i used to want fruity juice back in the day and liked the sound of it better than juicy fruit. i thought it went extinct though.

besides the thai skunk i'm hoping is at least as good as haze skunk, i have a fruity thai bean i want to test and like the sound of the description of the peppery cambodian based fake "amnesia haze" from rokerij and want to see if my world of seeds 50% columbian captures more high magic than 75% sativa skunk #1. it will be fun to compare the strains i have and share with everyone here. i know i'll be happy with most of the stuff i grow and might even have nice things to say about masterkush if it truly is as neutral as described.

if i REALLY had my way, i'd get some of the elite pure sativa strains like black haze or panama red sold on some auction site i've seen a couple people talking about here, but i've seen that a lot of hybrids aren't shabby at all. even the ones i'm not enthusiastic about like LSD & mataro blue are still way better than typical stoner street beasters.

there's great quality out there if only one can contain their greed for that "last 30% or so of yield".

good things come to those who wait and the longer you wait, the better it gets no matter how many generations you try to speed things up. oh well. C99 is a great quick fix though when waiting for better stuff to ripen. i naively thought that once someone bred a strain with zero couchlock but with a cash croppable growth habit back in '04 that it would sweep the market and force indica dominants into near extinction. i would gladly pay a premium price for something like C99 if it were available on the market even if it's not my favorite. i guess the new jack "this is the market now" mentality is just too dug in to change fast now, but especially here i get really excited to see that others are growing stuff like strawberry & fruity juice and putting a little extra love in their grows for quality over quantity. i just wish some of that would rub off on bean counters.

Just look at his post history. Its the same shit over and over and over. I used to be on grasscity and he was part of the reason I ended up switching to here. All his lies and false information being spread everywhere. I joined rollitup, started liking it, and Ill be damned if they didnt ban him at grasscity and he pops up over here.
