fertility

I had 5 females and 2 males I kept a little too long last bloom cycle. 3 plants didn't take well, 1 has a decent amount for its size, and 1 plant is loaded with seeds. Got almost 50 seeds from her so far. Does fertility mean anything in breeding cannabis? Or am I over thinking?
