you got loads of space, especially with the 6ft height.... i`d go hempy pot aswell, up your yeild that little bit and help you when feeding/flushing...

Thanks man I was looking at perpetual grows, they seemed like to much was involved but that's what I'm after and I aim to perfect it just enough to keep me stoned everyday haha that's a shit one learnin the hsrd way man that's what I don't want haha makin all the security checks before I do shit ya know, but there's only so much ya can hide a 6 foot hole in the wall hahaits no good, you`ll be better served with the white paint dude trust us... as for lights, make sure you have more 6500k(kelvin) for your veg cycle and more 27000k for flower, you can have both going at the same time just a better average of either depending on your stage of growth...
you can get only so far with them tho, and thats from experience, even when you match the wattage of say a small hps you`ll never get the yeild you would have with the latter, so if you could spring for a 250w hps even you`ll get the results your after...
now that said you can yeild with cfl`s, but if you do`t want to be buying weed again (and you won`t want to after you grow your own) then look into perpetual growing, just popping more beans or bean if femmed at the right time, i normally pop as i flip one lot to flower, just so as you never run out and always got something in the tin..
i think if its your first go and you are unsure of things then hang your bulbs etc and get them lit without anything growing and give the wardrobe a dry run, i`ve grown in them before and once set right and secure they can be a great, secure being paramount, learned that one the hard way...

these are some pics of my 1st ever grow with female seeds, in a homemade grow cabinet with cfls. pulled an oz and a half off this G13 bluberrygum girl with only a 3 week veg time
and here some pics of my 2nd grow, in a wardrobe i converted, started in the small compartment with cfls, finished the one big plant then got my 1st hps and moved into the bigger part of wardrobe. even with hps i was still ok with no intake or extraction all i used was oscillating fans

The 4 inch pc type fans can be run a couple of ways. For about 5-10 euro you can get a computer fan controller, hook up to 4 fans to it and power it up.(Fans run on 12v). Or you can get the pc fans and go to a charity shop and pick up an old mobile phone charger that is 12v and has more amps than the fan and wire it by hand(only 2 wires). This is good if you handy with your hands or like messing around. OR you can save yourself the hassle and just get a small desk fan for the moment as a86 suggested.

Love the baking dish as a reflector @gary. Would never have thought of that. Its so simple. I had to go all hardcore and angle grind a pc case and spray it. Aww man...feel stupid now.

a mish mash of old pics aswell gar, just to show you new guys theres alot of myths to growing, here you see grows in old bags that have been doubled up to block light to roots, and homemade hood for an old speed sign you get at road works, think theres a cfl one in there too, you can get these cheap if cfl growing is what you want to do, and they make great side lighting for the hps grows, don`t know if it shows but there all wired back to one plug and at only like 3 ohms per bulb a simple 13w fuse will do like 20 of them... and is handier than a shit load of leads for each bulb....

I've been thinking about splitting the 6 foot with a shelf and have 3 autos on each shelf instead is this a good idea ya think?

lol urs looks a lot more professional mate, i just bought a large foil baking tray and cut a section out one side to fit light wiring thru, attached the whole thing, bulb included to the cabinet with metal garden wire, that whole small cab setup cost me £50 total and i got 2 grows from it b4 i sold it for £150 to a mate when i made the wardrobe. if u put ur mind to it there is usually a cheap alternative to the expensive grow equipment u need
now ive got a cpl grow tents as i need to be more stealthy with kids in the house.

that pic with the rizzlas is a lower cola not the main either now that i look at it, so cfls can get you sorted just hps will always get you better nugs..

get the first grow done and you`ll have a better idea what works in there, even autos can get big and with lights and hoods etc you always need more height, its the one thing once they get going i think we all get trouble with, some plants just want to get tall no matter what, thers always topping but again, get the first one done, and sure you can always make that choice once there growing and you see how they react to your setup...

piece of piss, you get yourself some flex from the shop when you buy the bulb connectors, there only about 80c each and i`ll fire you up a pic of mine so you can copy it, its really simple dude, if you can get a small block connector aswell it`ll make it a tad safer but failing that a roll of insulating tape will do..

View attachment 2946050this was grown using these lights, 1x 300w dual spec cfl and 2x 45w cfls the top bud was about the size of a can of juice and almost as fat, nice solid buds as well, so good results can be achieved with cfls, u just cant fit as many plants under cfls, by that i mean if u got a 600w cfl u cud maybe grow 3 plants and get 2 oz max per plant but if u got a 600w hps u cud grow 6 plants and get 3+ oz per plant
