I give an ounce a month to patients as well as concentrates edibles and whatever else ive played with making that month, I also let them choose their own strains to run.

I give my patients a free oz on there Bday and Christmas and then if they need it I give them RSO for super cheap.

I’ll second that , could add it would be nice if the electric company would give free electric each month , or it would be nice if Wal-Mart would give out free growing supplies , and now were back to it would be nice if a caregiver would give a free ounce each month . They all would be good but none of it is going to happen , its just a dream , maybe that’s where the saying “ Its just a pipe dream “ came from .

not sure where the whole "free oz a month" started but I think its funny when I see ads looking for a caregiver and they say "I want free this and that and I want a free oz every month and I only go through an oz a month and I only want top shelf" really? so I'm supposed to spend all my time and energy and money so you can have free everything? good fucking luck with that!! I don't have a problem being generous with my patients , $150 zips and samples here and there and even free medibles but give me a break.

I usually do cheap, not free, but I have a buddy in bad shape with prostate cancer so we make as much oil as we can for him no charge.

Every situation is different, and every patient is different imo. There are no set rules to this. I have patients that I've never charged a dime for anything because they are either very sick or on a fixed income and money is tight ..... and I've had patients that make great money and get charged every time. It all evens out in the end.

I remember when i was first starting to try and get patients I thought that giving a patient an ounce of weed was a good way to clinch the deal. Fuck that though, I come to realize that they need me I do not need them.

the patients that have serious illnesses such as cancer or ms or dravet syn, are not usually the ones saying gimme freebies and I want free meds, but they are the ones who deserve the free meds as the are truly in need and most often broke due to medical bills and such. those are not the people I was referring to and to those that help the truly needy patients I give my respect to you. to all the others out there expecting free meds though , GROW YOUR OWN AND LEMME KNOW HOW THAT WORKS OUT FOR YOU!! oh , and then you can give me free meds

never free. if they want free , then grow there own. the can pay the light bill and sped all the time with the plants. only way they get free meds if they are on there death beds and cant work and no social security. then ill give free until I get a free month of electric your not getting your meds for free. go to the pharmacy tell them to give you a free refill see what they tell you . any body that give away free meds is totally insane. how do you pay you light bill. I already know your using cfl florescent grow and not even running ac or a dehumidifier growing it in the window in the family room ,lol . my bill is 1200 to 1500 a month . how can I afford to give it away for free ?

It's called a job. I pay my bills the same way I paid them before I started growing.

And who the fuck are you to call people out for giving away weed? My weed isn't as good as yours because I choose to hook sick patients up? Go kick rocks

I don't give away any flowers for free. 200 a zip no exceptions. I make butter from the trim and I give that away for free. Or I make edibles out of it. Shit is strong enough to knock an elephant down so the patients appreciate it.

Never had anyone complain. I never have any leftover before my next chop ...

all my patients get 200.00 zips, free edibles and such. no one gets anything for free. lights, soil, ad my time ALL cost money.

Wow can we be kind to each other in 2014 maybey... for a bunch of growers most of you are way too bitchy, we all have diff situations and NO if I give my weed away to my patients that doesn't mean its crap I have 26 years and 106 grows under my belt, I know what im doing I just have many terminal and hard core cases that deem that giveaway shit I grow 72 plants and giving away 5oz a month doesn't even put a dent in it, greedy greedy people if you grow well then you will get huge harvests and be able to share with those less fortunate maybey its because I grew up in the hippy non greedy era.
