That looks good Niz. I used the reptile bedding stuff without rinsing it
properly once, and the effect was immediate, but remediable.

I did check and it does not look to be pre-charged with nutes. I believe
that you will want to add some Mg to it, at least, IIRC.

Happy New Year Hempy Fans. Nice to see some new hempy growers here. I had a great vacation and it was nice not having to worry about a grow in process. I planted 5 Satori seeds on Christmas day and all 5 have popped. I plan on going back and running my favorite simple hempy style this run. Soil for veg, then soil core and cap in a 2 gal perlite bucket.

This afternoon I'm going into town and buy some weed at the store, not because I need some, just because I can.

re-reading this, it says needs watering every 2-3 days... is this different than coir that normally is used?
i thought you'd have to water twice a day in straight up coco (no reservoir)

So does anyone use jacks classic duo in Hempy. Long time lurker normally in dirt but looking to take a stab at Hempy but I would like to follow the same feeding schedule to see if it improves yield.

Still using the 600hps, but run the 400mh during part of the stretch phase. I'm using GH dry nutes but plan on picking up some Dyna products in my travels. Downsized my tent from the 4x4 to a 3.5x3.5 approx., as I felt some of the 4x4 extra space was a waste. I'm thinking of switching to mainlining to bring my count down. Peace!!

so what they're saying is in soil and solless, the 20-20-20 works, but in "true hydroponics" it's not recommended
well is hempy considered "true hydroponics"??
because i believe it's soilless and i thought hydroponics was always soilless and i thought anything soilless you treated as hydroponics

confusing stuff lol but i think there is a jacks hydro formula if it doesn't work on hempy's

they tell you why you shouldn't use jacks on that link, its how the N breaks down

I've been using just maxibloom calimagic and silica and the dames love it....and I'm in veg lol....but you can get by with just the bloom 1 tsp per gallon all the way thru the grow...Lucas is awesome...even in hempys

Thanks for the reply Nizza. After reading the info on that page I'm going to do a side by side with Jack's duo and some true hydro nutes. Worse case scenario I switch to the one with the best results in flower.

I've used Jacks 20-20-20 in a hempy yrs back. It works fine. I used it in veg and through flower. It's a 1-1-1 ratio same as the Lucas regime. Jacks hydro formula is recommended if using no medium at all.

I don't think Lucas is 1-1-1 I think its more like 1-2-2

I just planted a clone in a 2 gal hempy with a 3:1 perlite to peat medium and I'm feeding it Jack's 20/20/20. I'm quite certain it will do fine. My camera is having issues or I'd put some pics up.
