World Of Hempy

Alright here's a pic of my 120 site cloner full for the very time.... Yesterday I took 84 clones of cali connection's Girl Scout cookies off one mom that I vegged for about 2-3 months using canna nutes. And I took 36 clones off 3 moms of hortilabs sourstar. I just hope I least get a 90% rooting rate or better yet 100%. It's just tap water with clonex solution. Once these 6-8" clones establish good roots will put then to 12/12 under 2x600. I'm shooting for 1 gpw.

it's such a nice break from hempy though, i mean going from 30 hempy's to 3 big pots, is so much less time involved..
now i get to put some time into loving the plants and doing small nice things for them, which will be methods i perfect and eventually use when i go back to hempy

the clones i took are amazing and makes me wish i was doing SOG, but at the same time am loving the little break.

Day 11!! Things are moving along nicely :) Here are a couple pix of one of the Godbud (JOTI) pheno. Some of the leaves are covered in trics!! Sry, macro on camera not good enough to show just yet. Peace!!

yo shagg, is that a wall mount oscillating fan? I'm shopping around for a decent one, pref. with stainless parts (sexy) or white

so what does the purple fan leaf stems mean, temperature swing too low? Mine are all purple, and i mean i know there's cal-mag in my water and soil..
in the summer i don't get them so i figured its a temp thing?
I'd love that to not happen lol! But i do enjoy the lower temps more tho !
 
I finally got my hempy bucket going with a White Widow clone. Still trying to get the little things down, but so far so good. Definitely less maintenance than DWC growing, but definitely not the same rate of growth either.

I will post pictures when I can get my camera acting right.
 
actually biglittlejohn, i hear hempy growers are starting to get to the DWC rate of growth

once you perfect the hempy technique, i think it will be easier than water culture
don't get me wrong, DWC has the potential too
i just see the simplicity of hempy outweighing the problems DWC gives, in my eyes hempys the better of the two!
 
When I get my camera back in order I will post pictures. With plants going in both mediums there will be some ability to compare. It won't be a perfect comparison due to a variety of factors: clone vs seed, different genetics, different starting times but I am betting on the DWC just comparing in my mind the mother which was Dwc and the clone in the Hempy when mom was at this point. It will be fun to see it all unfold.
 
hey nizza thanks for the recognition. sorry the pics are so shitty, my phone sucks. they look much better in person ;). from what i have noticed with my 5 plants is that two of them have purplish stems on the leafs (getting better, new coco that i didnt buffer correctly is the cause), and they are the two that have had PH issues. imo probably multiple problems cause the purpling, ph being one of them because of the nutrient uptake problem if the ph is off.

Hempys start slow and then simply explode at week 3 and 4 from rooting! Ull be surprised and proud of that hempy work horse! Lol
 
There has been a lot of debate about purple stems. From my experience most is due to temps or genetics. I've read ph is out of balance, slight mag deficiency and so on... Mine is definitely due to cooler temps as everything else is in check. I'm sure if anything else was out, I wouldn't have nice crystal laden nugs at 12 days since flip. Peace!!
