Dry winter air. How do you increase humidity? Powerful DIY Humidifier?

Hi,

right now the winter air is very dry here. Around 20% outside of my growroom and 35% inside of my grow room.

How do you guys increase the humidity? I already placed all of my dishes and cups with a bit of water in my grow room.

I am also placing wet towels on my aircooled hoods.

I am now thinking about building a humidifier with a humidistat and several ultrasonic foggers as I read these small foggers you can buy are not enough for a grow room.

How many ultrasonic foggers do you use, what are the specs (ml/h) and how large is your grow room.

Honestly why do you want a higher humidity its only going to bring you more problems ,.. im at 20% and they are doing fine

Those mini foggers are useless if u are running a decent size light.

I grow in the same environment and 35% is just fine. If you put about an inch of mulch on the top of your pot your soil won't dry out too fast and everything will be good.

I bought a portable evaporative cooler.
My RH is 20% or lower most days here in Colorado.
It takes about 1/2 gal of water a day, but it raised my humidity to around 30% - 35%.
I ordered it on Amazon for $160.00
It has wheels and various settings including an ionizer.
The room it is in is 120 sq. ft.

Hehehe. Its dry where I live. We had less than 3" of rain during all of 2013. The highest humidity in my tent for the past month has been 15%. Its got down to single digits a few times. The only time I add humidity is when the temperature gets high during the summer. Mold? Not here. It could be that I don't know the damage I'm doing but everything seems to working fine.

With a RH of 15% it would seem that just putting a bucket of water in the room has to help.

Don't use a sonic humidifier. Use evaporative. Otherwise all those minerals in he water leave crap all over everything.

Or just grow more plants while the rh is low.

because wen u get a perfect environment.. 50% for the first few weeks of flower.. u see FASTER GROWTH WITHA PERFECT ENVIRONMENT.. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ITS GREAT TO BOOST IT up. im using a humidifier.. !!

But aren't the evaporative working with heat to evaporeta water to dust and hence grow roon temps increase?
