I found the one that brokeoldbloke posted above was better for trich's than the one MrJohn posted. Got one myself but misplaced it, every time it comes round to checking trichs I wish I could find it. Mine also slots to I-phone to take good pics or just viewing. Was also cheap via e-bay.

I have the exact same one, works ok for me, I like how it's larger, much larger than most I've seen even tho higer resolution, and has an led.

Damage the tricomes ...?
The one I got has to be up against the part where you want to view thus smashing trichomes and taking the heads of them off. It does that cause you can see where there's a trich stem without a head I myself am switching to a loupe too

That's the exact one I have and it does work but a 60x would probably be better IMO. Just make sure to have the little LED off when checking the trics or it can be hard to differentiate clear and cloudy.

Yeah the one john posted was pretty nice. Thinking about getting it myself
The loupe is very handy especially with the built in light.

I have the 420 scope and do not like it at all, you have to have the scope right ontop of whatever you are looking at and I mean right ontop of it. If 60x isn't enough I will look for a higher power loupe, they are just so dang easy to use

I already bought the eyeloupe you mentioned, but if it doesn't work out, Ill be trying out the usb scopes.

I've posted this before and it sounds stupid, but an excellent magnifier is to take a binoculars (field glasses) and look through it in reverse. Tons better than those $6 loupes, and I have a few of those as well.
