Hey everyone! I am a long time lurker. The science and engineering behind marijuana cultivation and horticulture has been intimately intriguing to me for years now. I have just made an account with RIU, along with a few other forums with the intentions to stat my first grow in the next few weeks and finally start a journal of my own. I'm very excited to start my first grow journal and I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences for years to come and be a part of this community.
I have build a custom stealth cabinet that is well insulated and has great circulation and ventilation. My biggest, and honestly my only concern, is temperature and humidity. I have read the cannibus, piles of high times, thousands of forums. I have also watched hundreds of hours of videos. I have seen many monitoring and controlling systems. I have also seen humidifiers, dehumidifiers, heaters and a/c units. My question is this -- Is there a system that generates AND regulates all four functions? I have not seen any, at least not anything suitable for anything less than an entire house.
My problem is that I am growing in a bare attic and I live in New England. Currently the temperature up there is below 20. On the other end, in six months, I will have to worry about the attic being a stagnant ninety-five degrees. Between the changes of the seasons and the lighting schedules, I would be so much more confident in this grow if I could find and all-in-one type system.
Even larger systems would be considered. I am a carpenter by trade and would be able to easily build a larger cabinet or even frame and entirely new grow room.
