No doubt Ace. It's a bit more critical in close quarters, like an apartment or condo. I used to have that kind of space, until a year in the hospital paralyzed rearranged my life for me.

Sorry to hear that, my heart goes out to you, I spent the better part of three months in the hospital with my wife, I can't imagine how that year must have been for you. Best wishes on your recovery! At least you know how to grow some killer medicine!

Big dogs and high fences eh? Great ways to keep kids off your yard..
Haha for sure it is! I also make catapults (slingshots) in my spare time, and while they aren't as intimidating as a shotgun they can put a .50" lead ball down field at about 200+ feet per second. I'm not so worried about burglars and ruffians :bigjoint:

I thank all of you for your comments and trying to help me out, I plan on putting them in my attic so i don't think anybody down under will smell, There's many holes up there and take up most of the air but i'm wondering about air flow should i get a fan up there?

Yes you should get a fan to move the air around, the plants will thank you for it. You don't need a big one, just a cheap little oscillator should do the trick, you just don't want stagnant air, plants have to breathe just like us. Plus a little breeze helps those stems grow nice and thick.

Gordo here, Hydrofarm mini sunburst 150 watt (broad spectrum of K numbers,) and also FEIT Electric Ecobulb Daylight (40 watt, fits standard sockets) 15,000 lumens for the mini sunburst, 2,800 lumens for the FEIT bulb plus misc. cfl bulbs from the box stores. Good luck, don't over water, don't over nute, less is better, ya can't pull back if ya over add!

I'd get some big, bright lights with pictures of squirrels on them because everybody know that squirrels bring good luck. I would definitely hang up some pictures of draft horses and a small disco ball in the NW corner of your room has always worked good for me.
Fukkin newbie stoner comment. Assuming everybody lives North of the equator.

Pro-Tip: South of the equator (like the bottom half of an orange if you were holding an orange, like in your hand) you would put the disco-ball in the SE ("southeast") quadrant of your grow area. Or grow room. Or maybe outside?

150 watt hps is only 60 bucks or get a 400 for right at your 100 mark. Look at the apollo setups on ebay will give you enough light for any personal grow you want to run. Personal being key word.

Thanks for the thoughts Ace. If my lights come on in the morning, all is good! To all involved, great to see folks chipping in. Most of us seem to realize that not everyone can afford the"kind" light set up, and are just trying to get by on the limited resources we have. Getting the most for our budget is life for some. To those who look down on others for their best efforts, it must be nice to have your life set in concrete, with no chance of catastrophic change in circumstance. If it's bright, keeps your girls green and flowering, and it's what you can afford then it's the best one. An idiot with thousands of dollars worth of all the best stuff is still gonna grow crap!
