High CBD marijuana in Retail?

Hi everyone, I currently suffer from schizophrenia and am wanting to try some high CBD product in Colorado. However, I don't live on Colorado so I cannot obtain a Medical Card. I was wondering if the retail shops were selling high CBD product. I was also wondering which ones are selling them that you know of, if you know the product and CBD/THC ratio, and if they are mandated to display the CBD/THC ratio.
Thanks.

All excellent questions. I do not have an answer, but will try to find out for you. I do expect the retail side to sell some CBD products because there is a decent demand - RiverRock, one of the largest medical dispensaries in Denver, does a good part of its business with CBD product. On the testing, again I don't know for sure, but typically you see THC and CBD and CBN listed on analysis reports..... I suppose if it's cheaper to just test for THC that may be the way they go.

I too am hopeful for CBD therapy for someone close to me with Bipolar disorder.

I know of one retail shop/caregivership that tries to keep CBD flowers around- its hard to do because like bubba said the demand is huge. Check out okiebudz.com They make edibles and vape oils that are high in CBD and work good for my pain(when i cant find a high cbd flower)

I will not comment on the mental health end of things, as I manage physical pain with gods plant, but my wife is bipolar and loves the effects CBD has on her. We have been fortunate and have been keeping a good stock of cbd rich flowers for medicating and she is actually doing good off her perscription poisons.

I just checked a couple on weedmaps that I know are 21+ right now and carry good CBD strains but the selection is highly limited on the 21+ side it seems.

The Clinic has the best CBD flowers I've found but their Co(21+) location isn't listing any atm on med or rec sides right now, check back, Pre '98 Bubba is my fav. On a side note their 21+ is listing Phishead Kush budder right now, bout to go get me some of that, hoping they have it on med side.

The Green Solution has 2 strains I like with high CBD, Shark Shock and Rubicon. I see that their 21+ Denver location has Rubicon right now but no Shark Shock on med or rec so must be out, also their north location(med only till the 14th) didn't have any yesterday either.

The Clinic had that Budder for Rec today but not while I was there, said they sold out super fast. But as of 2 hours ago they have it back up on weedmaps so who knows.

Also, they had Pre '98 Bubba but not for rec. It is really popular with their patients that like cbd so I can understand why but maybe you could get them to sell you an 8 if you explained your situation.

greenwerks has a strain called r4. I have been smoking it. similar to Charlottes web strain. Almost no thc and very high cbd. I do not get high smoking it but rather mellow. I know a guy who is ADHD who is using it with some higher thc strains to help him get off his meds. They will be open is Denver and Glenwood Springs for recreational in a week or so. If you are in the glenwood springs area I could help you out. But they limit the amount anyone can get at a time to 8th or 1/4.

Pretty sad someone with a legit medical reason needs to feel like he's doing something wrong to get his meds... I would try Denver like all these others have said, its your best bet. The prices are high, taxes are high, demand is through the roof. You will only be able to buy 1/4 oz if your a non-Colorado resident. Good luck I know what it's like to need your meds and be told no by the government.

I am searching for either the R4 or Charlottes web clones or feminized seeds. I paid Greenwerz $12 a seed and none of them germinated, so probably a clone only strain. These meds are only going to get in higher demand. Families are streaming into CO Springs to get CBD for their epileptic children. My doc sees 5-6 of them a week...

I just learned from research today that we've known in this country since the 1980s that CBD is effective for Dystonia (involuntary severe head bobbing).... I have many relatives with this and I am a carrier. If they lived in CO, I could sign up a dozen folks tomorrow for these meds. The only way to insure supply is grow it yourself unfortunately.

Sorry lol, I just cleared it. Yes, I have tried Harlequin, about an 1/8th. Nice CBD effect, very little THC I think? I have a friend who has it in flower. Lovely plant.

I was able to get Rubicon, ~9% THC, ~9.5% CBD, at Green Solution, in Denver on Alameda, through their Adult Use (non-medical) sales. I treat spinal pain with it, and it's the best I've found. I'm also interested in finding clones, of that, or R4, etc. I do have some seed for Otto #1, which is high-CBD, but haven't tried germinating it yet as my growing was interrupted.

Wondering if there are any updates from participants here. I'll try to update you if I have more information. I believe it's legal in Colorado to give clones away, and if I were in a position to do that, I would.
