Those girls are looking really nice, getting bigger every day.

i put ppm up to high, so had to drop it back and am now growing much more conservative with nutrients. Yeh I have about 4 tops coming up on the white widows, I'm going to train those and cut the lower growth on week 2 of flower I think, need to let the other girls catch up a bit, two weeks into flower can keep training, get an even scrog then let them shoot upwards. Going to be interesting, first hydro grow, first scrog, first indoor grow...many firsts

At 1 point we all were here,im still learning,my next grow is hydro but I have no clue on how to do it,need info from matt,my next check im gona by all equipment

Im growing in soil either Ice or White widow x skunk #1 not sure cause I just mixed the 20 seeds together.

In hydro I have 2 white widow xskunk #1(reg)
1 northern lights(fem)
2 ice (reg)
1 sage n sour (fem)
1 darkstar (fem)

Im happy to help although ill admit im not the most experienced at hydro, years and years of experience with soil growing of all sorts of things, had fruit orchards and all sorts, few cannabis grows like 10 years back in soil, but they went well.

Hydro I have learned is all about stability and increasing things slowly, trying to keep everything at the same levels every day unless you increase them purposely. Once you have it set up it is actually relatively straight forward, the key is not to mess with it to much. PH is way more important than in soil grows and I monitor that twice a day, have to use PH down every single day to keep it 5.5-5.8. Reservoir changes every 7-14 days depending on how much you want to push the plants. Its a lot more work than soil, that's for sure, at the end of your grow you have to pull everything apart and flush cleaner through lines etc. So expect a day of cleaning at least after each grow.. keeping things clean is important.

Any questions just ask ill try to answer with what I know.

I just checked my soil grow outside, the leaves are looking better after I sprayed them with plain water earlier, I think it was just the bug spray. They also are stretching like crazy 2 inches on one stem overnight, reaching for the light.

White widow touched the screen already , by tomorrow ill be training it, its growing at a rate of about an inch or so a day now.

I built a lot of my system because I realized in the future im going to have a house of my own and I did not want to invest for an expensive system (although saying that I have bought more than $2500 worth of stuff for growing, between both hydro and soil equipment), its usually just little bits that all add up. Lighting systems, fans etc were the most expensive, nutrients $250 (I have a whole lot of nutes that fit hydro growing, could be done much cheaper I believe).

I hope you don't mind me posting this Cdd but here is my idea for my future system when I have my own house, will need to buy a house with either a large basement (not easy to find in Australia) or 2 spare bedrooms, perhaps one big bedroom.. to fit:

Clone and mother room with 2 80w CFLs (hooded).

Probably going to cost a small fortune to set this up but that's the plan for the future (long time down the road, but got to have a dream, haha).

I think I could probably run about 6-12 plants in this set up depending how long I wanted to veg for.

Was considering cutting 4 clones at a time and moving 4 plants into veg tent, move 4 plants into flower tent, they flower for 4 weeks while 4 more clones have been moved to veg tent, after 4 weeks they move into flower tent and 4 more plants into veg. So if that worked I would be harvesting 4 plants a month. Would be able to have an unbelievable amount of turn over, perhaps 5-15 ounces a month. Would run a fair amount as BHO and the rest cure and store.

Would probably grow out many new strains from seed also and just keep some primo mothers.

Sounds great when I think about it but all depends on money etc.
