What's For Dinner Tonight?

I could take a picture of my belly? I counted it at 900 'n some odd calories if that means a damn. Im payin attention these days, theres an app for that ;)

and B166 and I both had tilapia on the same night, which is funny because its the first time I've had it in years and the last time I'll likely have it in years. It was good, just not a fish I generally eat. Really weird we had it the same night o.O

Cliiint those kebabs look kickin', reminds me of these teriyaki beef skewers I used to get at this old steakhouse before it closed down
 
2p,that is funny because I don't really eat a lot of fish but maybe 2-3 times a year...and normally it would be some fried catfish but that's what the wife bought!..lol...and it was damn good!


About the killing your own animals and being able to hunt and fish convo....I do feel for you uk guys....I mean hunting and fishing is just a way of life for me and if I couldn't fish anymore...just kill me!!As a matter of fact I could catch tilapia or hunt world class hog 20 minutes away!I'm not some redneck idiot(I can say that,I'm one of'em) with antlers,dead animals hanging on the walls.I only kill if i need meat(deer,hog,duck,fish)which is hardly ever.TG.I wont lie if I ever got a trophy animal,there is a taxidermist next door:)peace
 
It turns out these new owners might be alright people to work for. Cooked up a lamb curry for after service and got paid to stand around stuffing our faces and drinking their beer :)

Hahaha I put the hot meat straight into my mouth and try to pull everything off with my teeth .
And yes end up with sauce all over ya cheeks !!!!!!!
 
Coached the gf through making some beef heart for lunch.

Trim off fat, cut into 1" cubes, sprinkle with kosher salt and let stand for a couple hours.
Rinse and dry, dredge with well seasoned flower w onion and garlic powder and saute in cast iron until medium rare. Remove meat.
Add half table spoon of flour and more oil, onions and mushrooms and jerk seasoning, saute for a minute, then add chicken stock and cook till veg is done and sauce is reduced. Add meaback in to warm and finnish with chopped thai basil. Amazing. Tasted like steak, maybe better. :):):)

Not a vegan by the way - I love to slap some cheese and bacon on these, but I just love the taste...
 
Cooking with dog on you tube.steamed buns......gotta do it soon. I love cooking with dog, you tube it. I swear youll eat it up.
