So they tax the shit out of it and what did they get?
Same black market, but instead of criminal charges, now it's tax charges.
Now Colorado will be a focal point for "outside" un-taxed weed.
Meet the new boss, I guess...
Colorado lets people grow there own dope. Good thing
Arizona wont let you grow if you are within 25 miles of a dispensary. Bad thing
Colorado also has 136 pages of laws and regulations for being able to sell it
And a score of pages on possessing it
The problems with Full legalization havent been realized yet.
I'm not talking about people getting high, or growing
I'm talking about all the regulations that will come from all different areas
The big players will want to protect there markets
The "think of the children" crowd will want regulations
The Cops will want some piece of the action
And the local goverments will want to control it.
If they allowed sales AND allowed you to grow your own. Everything is cool. But I have a feeling Full legalization will be the same as it is now with Tobacco and Alchohol
In other words. You still aint gonna be able to afford to sell it.
My idea is real simple.
Make it legal to grow and possess no restrictions
Illegal to sell
Keeps the criminals, corporations and goverment out of it
