female showing before males ?

Hi guys.

First time grower

Have 5 Afghan Kush started from seedlings 2 months 1 week old now in veg.

Have super cropped all with LST

One of my plants has started to shoot white pistols on all of her 5 main colars

But none of the other 4 plants are showing any signs of sex is this normal ?

Any help would be great thank you in advance !

Will also be uploading pictures along the way for the rest of the grow.

Weekly updates (Didnt want to start a new thread as i feel my grow isnt anything special)

To best of my knowledge none are autos all from local grower.

Hope it dosnt turn hermaphrodite

it does seem to be an auto flower.wierd right>anyways just make sure no balls come and maybe put them all into flower now.

Will be putting all under flower this week have 2 250 watt hps Hope this is enough to cover 5 supper cropped plants am thinking about scrogging them as i only have a 1.4m/1.4m/2m tent. Will post some pics later in week if any one is intrested in seeing how they turn out.

Only problem with scrogging unknown sex of plants is trying to remove them if they turn male..

if they are two months old i would expect to see most of them showing some pre-flowers by now
if you look closely at the others you might be able to see male preflowers on some of the others
or even more tiny pistils

Yeah have been waiting what seems like a life time for this next stage, Just sucks being first time grower and being stressed about the other 4 turning male with out me seeing and loose my female. Will post some pics of progress as time passes.

Update ! Went out and bought a magnifying glass. Found 2 more females and spotted what looked like 2 males (had very small balls around top colars and no white pistols at all) Glad thats out the way let the good times roll :) Total of 3 females all look nice and healthy will put them into flower tomorrow.

Wow congrats man. anxious to see pics as I'm currently about four days since i seen my prefloqers. We both seem impatient so maybe u can help me. about how long after you seen prefloqers before pistols showed? I got three hours before the lights cut on and just got a mag glass half way decent. hope i get my answer before u can see this ;)

Hey !Yeah not sure on a time as i was overseas on holiday when all this happened.Will flick up some pics in the weekend of flowers (still very small but exciting for me)

I have had my plants going for 8 weeks tomorrow. There has been preflowers on all of them for a few weeks. 4 out of 5 have showed pistils, the last one hasnt. Im ready to flower in the next 6 days, but i want this last little bitch to show me first. Its been at least 7 days since SHE showed the first preflowers. They all look just like the rest of the females, im pretty damn sure it is a female, but i dont have that white haired confirmation. Kinda like a teardrop, but not round, more flat. Its not the same strain as the other 4, so i might go in there and draw a face on her just so i can punch it.

Yeah the sexing game sucks balls.

I think im in 2 months 2nd week now took my girls a while to show also, One female did show before any of the others incl males she is doing quite well now biggest of all the females.

Just put them into flower all will be good just keep close on eye on plant that has not yet showed sex By putting them all into flower this will hurry up the last one to start showing (from what i have read on here)

Well, i got 4 out of 5 female. The 4 females are Ace of Spades. The unknown is a bagseed. Ill cut this bitch down right now, i dont care. LOL

Upto you dude...Id just keep it see what comes of it never know mite be a awesome strain you could clone down the track.I plan on making clones of my Afghan Kush and give it a 2nd round after this harvest, As this time i know alot more about the strain and the do's and dont's and try pull a nice yeild.
