David Rose is a joke. he also supported the Iraq war.
He writes for the Ultra conservative daily mail
His climate science writing is devoid of key facts.
He misrepresents the views of scientists who study climate and never prints retractions
And many of his sources which he relies on for his writing of global warming denial have been debunked.
Yet he still uses those same source over and over again

Sea Ice extent moved back toward average last year



And this year is not the lowest year, that was 2007




And even in the Artic, all that matters is the albedo, the extent of the Ice. Too much we freeze.

Good thing the Artic freezes over to the same extent each year and no more. Old ice. What good it that?

Has anything been abandoned because of sea level rise? And there is plenty of si-fi about how we will used drowned cities.
Seal them and live there....a lot rent, art district, now. New opportunity up the newly navagatable rivers. And Greenland becomes a rich nation due to Gold.



Sea levels rise and fall. Nothing to do with us except opportunity and failure as usual.

We live in a dismal world, always have. We are subject to ourselves, and our stupid beliefs and corrosive Nature.

And when we get science, you see what happens. More stupid belief and the "climate scientists" are the new Messiah.

So, politically do we want Russia to have ice free ports? No. So can you imagine this entire thing is a ploy to cool the planet even more quickly to deny out deadly enemy?

So, yes, we are getting more summer melt that we don't want Russia to have. But, it is vastly beyond our control. Yet, that has Never stopped the control obsessed, shinny monkeys, has it?

But, the warming fear, of losing the winter albedo, is just not happening.

Oh, no. Compared to you I have to be....<sigh> normal.

And I don't know about that, since ice and water are completely different things. It is the same substance is how the stupid guys look at it, but along with vapor, 3 entirely different things. There are also, 7 forms of the thing called ice and 2 of thing called liquid water, but I digress. Oh and Smellia Sense of Snow. :)

All these THINGS around the substance H2O, are in play. Ice, water, and vapor are three big subsection of stuff in play, but not all. Everything is in balance and we have adapt or act on Hubris and fuck it up. Darwin. We have to play also. We may not like the current balance of Nature. But, when has that mattered?

Besides, the sea and ice and cloud exchange energies, that will blow you mind, every second. We are nothing in this.

This Saganistic idea is we MAY be the Golden BB that takes down the planet. Sure look around. Bio-radio poison is everywhere.

But, Ignore that. Forget about contamination of oceans of life. Blame carbon. Consruct stupidites like we dug it up and now we pay!!! Do you bother to check the amount of Carbon taken up each year? No. You act like this bit of Carbon 12 (is it or 14?), not from volcanoes and other sources as significant a significant part in the carbon cycle. Fools. It is not.

And you know people are easily fooled for money. And when it is about clean up, I am all for it.
So, the point of all this is the evidence, not the hand waving of those that think they are OH SO smart about their politics. The politics may be correct. But, not the science.

The point for the really dumb who refuse to BELIEVE anything since the Dark Ages, is, if this was proven we would have no need to have this little talk.

And the really, really, smart people could just piss on us, as they would like and not just call us stupid.

I have already said I will duel resumes here and paychecks for the pink slip on your best hash.

If I am not convenience neither should you be. And I say that only because I am dumb enough to think you might listen to us dumb people who see belief, called science every day.

There is 15% Ice ON your water, not IN it. And that is the main point you don't get.

BTW, above that is a significant amount of vapor, as well.

ice is "on" my chickens' water bowl and my ducks' swimming pool after a cold night. ice is "in" my glass of water.

people hate what they don't understand. i understand monsanto's business model and sordid history of dishonesty, and i place no trust in them. that's not hate though.
