I agree Bass, the JB is very interesting.

One of the tastiest smokes that I have grown so far was Qrazy Train,
and so I am very happy to be trying some new TGA gear.

I have not failed to get a breed yet, but I did get a male of the Plushberry
and have popped my last bean of that breed, so we will see.

As to the tent, the SC is really liking the light. The Dog does not seem to
need the help :0) and the Cheese Surprise had a good deal more Veg time,
as it popped first and so it is doing well also.

Pap, the Somango would be much more colorful, but I am still using day for night,
as I have been since the heat of the summer.

I have found so many FAKE cuts its just sad, but recently I got the Alien OG, Rascal OG, and Mango Haze cuts that are DEF legit.

Bout time I scored something nice!

I dont know if my current clones are legit or not yet, but Ill cross my fingers.

Lets hope The guy you are getting from is Legit too JD!

I never expect much from Craigslist, believe me I wish I had.

Early sample from the Mango Haze,had me hazy feeling for a few hrs tunnel vision and all.

I havent tried a sample from the Alien yet though.

Thank you for the replies.

In checking CL I also found all the posters who were clearly just
people with extra cuts....no way to tell how good they are.

The outfit whose line-up I posted is way, way more professional
looking. If they are not legit, then they are truly a scam and I will
end their activities locally if that turns out to be the case. I do not
get the impression that this will be necessary.

I have a GC Nizza. I decided to main-line it, to give use the time
that it is going to get to develop. This plant will end up with like
four months from seed, when it is flowered, in the end.

The plant most insistent in getting into the tent is the Ace Of Spades.

I may take GSC tonight...I am still toying with the idea...but I am
only more determined to let the Somango ripen. The AOS will be in
the tent soon.

Which is the next is interesting. I just spread the Trainwreck out, and
it was looking to be next, but I might jump Skunk #1 past it...we will see.

I think your best bet when buying clones is NEVER buy any of the flavor of the month clones. IE...GSC/GDP/blue dream/all the OGS. Every time I have ever gotten those strains they end up in the compost heap eventually. Your best bet is to find those uncommon ones or buying them from a hippie type. My lemon larry is a good example. Most people have never heard of it, so people wont be shady and name some bag seed clones that. When I purchased that I had to look it up because I never heard of it. Another really great thing to do is only deal with people that can give you a nug sample. Out here in cali I know MANY people who dont flower, just sell clones/buy new strains. Thats great in theory, and I know they make great profit because clones are so cheap to make. The problem is then they honestly have no clue how good the phenotype they have is or if its even what its claimed to be. It takes more time, but you can talk to someone and know if they know WTF they are talking about. Another nice thing I like to do is anytime I try someones bud or pick some up, if I like it I see if they can make me a clone of it. Sometimes that means just getting a cut and rooting it yourself. Obviously this works best if you know other growers, which I can tell ya for sure is the single greatest resource you could ever have.

I understand Pap. The Flavor-of-the-month would be the logical target
of people just trying to cash in on a wave of interest.

I appreciate the idea TD. I am going to call them today. It will all hinge
on how discreet they are.

I got lucky with the Alien OG, and the Rascal's OG this time.
I feel the Mango Haze is less common around here, and prolly was never a risk in Pap's equation.
I feel my Dark Star is the same as I had to look it up

I have completely given up on GSC, unless I go to OAkland in Feb, and even then maybe not as I head the yield on the right pheno is weak as well.

My Cherry Pie clones are suspect already as they are nute sensitive, and that isnt the case with all that have responded so far.

I must get Earth OG. I was just too surprised to see it.

I must get Romulan, though what relation it has to the classic I have no idea.

I must get DJ's BB, same proviso as above.

Well, it is good that you got something worth the time.

BTW: I pulled the GSC. She is sticky beyond belief and could
have used another week (now that I can get a really good look
at her....but isn't this always how it seems?) but I am happy to
have the slot free.

A very ready Ace Of Spades is in the tent!

Somango is going to ripen.

Next up is likely a Trainwreck that I split spreading out. LOL, I
just taped the split so that it does not spread. I bet that it flowers
as if it never happened.

I grew a Blue Dream 3 yrs ago in my 2nd grow.
Everyone raved about it.

I had never heard of it prior, nor gotten a real pheno since.

Another case where you dont know what you have till its gone.


I am curious about Chemdog as well.
I thought it was a sativa in the past, but reading it sounds like an indica now, and sometimes called a hybrid.
Any way I have never had it

Yea some people swear by GSC and Ogs...I have tried several different of both of them both from harborside cuttings and CL and never been impressed. Even "real" cookies is still very low yield. I have rarely seen any 2 growers growing GSC that looked like the same plant. OGs grow like vines which i guess is good if you dont mind having to support every single nug/ and have string of pearls type bud. Also usually lower yielding. I guess I cant complain to much because one of my best strains outdoor was kings kush which is grape ape x og kush. It was very strongly ape though. Everyone has their personal opnions on buds I guess. Personally I would take good old skunk #1, ak47, blueberry, Northern lights, white widow etc any day of the week over all flavor of the month stuff

I have grown DR Atomics NL, and thats pretty good esp after a cure...is there a better one?

I have a BB cross that am on the last crumbs of and I like it, and have 2 BB clones now.

I have never had white widow yet.

I grew out a Hindu Skunk, but never straight Skunk #1 yet....which breederis good on that?
