I was on the metro, not my choicest form of transport but a necessary evil from time to time. A Spanish couple got on with their kid. Who WALKED on by himself. The parents were older like late 30's or early 40's (which is neither here nor there in the grand scheme of things). The carriage was packed and out of no where she just lifts UP her jumper and her BREAST FELL out, then she latched on the toddler who was STANDING between her legs.
Now, either she's a 'wet nurse' and is selling the milk or she can't accept that her baby is now FULLY WEANED and she probably may not have another one. In Spain we have absolutely no problem with nudity, breast feeding etc but somehow no matter what country you're in, simple morals apply. Is it called weaning for a reason? Was this mother just enjoying it? The baby was over 2.5 yrs and after a go on the dangling breast, he proceeded to drink a beaker of something , independently. Oh my days. So how old is too old? . Kid was talking and everything. Next he'll be saying. "dame la teta!"
