How do you know it is locked? You are getting some terms mixed up I think. And you need to slow down and knock of all those. ???? Know what I mean? We are not freaking out, nor are you able to make us.
This is not an emergency, unless you fall over from it. You act like cal/mag is the equivalent to mammal oxygen.
OK. Breath.
Anything can be sprayed if you have a wetting agent to use and have any idea of what you are doing. Too concentrated a spray is like pulling them up and tossing them in the garbage, because that is your next step.
You have to learn. Unless you killed a few and got over it, what have you learned but luck?
So, if they REALLY NEED cal/mag today, they are already dead and cal/mag won't help.
So, add cal mag water, with only a little feed. Rule of thumb is 1/4 strength.
Why do you keep asking? I'll tell you. You mixed up lockout with locked up. Completely different.
You are not locked up, I don't think. In that state, it is an emergency. It has nothing to do with pH unless it was allowed to bang around, or let dwell at super low or high.....like you said your tap was 8...a typo maybe.
So, lock up comes from stress, most usually extended over feeding. Although they can lock up from over watering and stop eating. Similar.
OK. Got it?
Locked out, is pH and is just that. Cal/Mag comes, door is locked. But, plant just says, oh well, I got other stuff to do. Cal/Mag has to wait.
So, as soon as the door is unlocked Cal/Mag can come in. No harm done. See the difference?
