help me with swamp tubes

So my first outdoor last year got ripped and they were monsters 6'+ all of them 5 females. Well the only other spot i could find in my neck of the woods was a swamp/bog that has a very open treeline and good cover.

Anyway, right now (Are water tables supposed to be up or down now?) the water table is at about ground level. I plan on making swamp tubes but am on a very tight budget. Iv'e considered stacked tires. Or buckets with the bottoms cut out, but does anyone have any really killer ideas that are cheap?
Thank you.

Buy a cheap boat and grow in that, or in trees, some even grow in a closet in their bedrooms ....lol

Yes iv'e done some indoor but outdoors really my passion, and I like that boat idea, I was thinking maybe one of those plastic kiddie pools as a raised bed.

Id really love to hear some experience though

Is this new location a good distance from where you had your crop ripped? Rippers are tenacious and will come back looking anywhere around for your new location. They will assume you'll try again and will look anywhere that theres a good amount of sunlight.

Be careful! Try to camouflage whatever method you use. why not use 5 gallon buckets with holes in the bottom? you can spray paint them like camouflage and best yet you can move them if things go wrong. In buckets you can always raise the bucket by putting it on rocks or branches and then drag some fallen logs or branches and make them disappear. Make sure you hide all traces and your plants will become part of the natural surroundings. Hide in plain site.

I posted a pic that has many different strains of weed that to the untrained eye looks like a field of weeds. Beware of areas hunters use. Weed is harvested before hunting season but hunters like to scope out their spots early to set up tree stands and blinds. Be smart and think it through.

Use google earth to search out potential grow sites. One of the best tools for locating good sites. You can see what is around the area and what it
looks like from the air.

Thank you Northern man and yes I took proximity to my last spot into huge consideration and im putting a couple bagseed plants there as a decoy, Its really sad because the spot was PERFECT in every way(other than security I guess)

Anyway I am just asking as ive never tried with buckets and would love to hear from somebody that has, and ill probably be using some lime peat moss or coco and compost mixed with native soil

And in regards to google earth as a tool, I find bing maps (previously live maps or something) in the birds eye view to be more detailed

You can make inexpensive swamp tubes using chicken wire as a frame and wrapping with some sort of canvas or plastic. I personally wrap them with plastic then again with burlap which blends in well. With this method you can customize height and diameter of your tubes compared to just using buckets.

I've grown in buckets many times and had excellent results. one year many years ago a friend got a tip that there was a helicotper with a local cop on board looking for my crop (when you grow really good weed someone always tells the wrong person) anyways I was able to move 25+ plants under the tree canopy on the day before the helicopter search took place. If my plants were in the ground I would have lost them. That helicopter went back and forth all day and I could see officer Dickhead leaning out the door and pointing to look over there how about over there. 2 days later I had them right back where they were and got an awesome harvest. When in doubt play it safe.
