First ever grow, all organic, vertical doughnut bare bulb set up

Hello, all, I decided to start a grow log for informational purposes and to get assistance from any willing and generous experienced growers. Feel free to post any advice or anything. This is my first ever solo grow. I've educated myself but could definately use some positive advice.

My mind is set on organic soil, I mixed my soil nearly 60 days ago and let it cook for 45 days before putting any plants in.

My recipe was
-promix hp myc
-perlite
-earth worm castings
-humus
-dr earth organic fertilizer 5
-glacial rock dust
-dolomite lime
-humic acid
-high p and n bat guano

I also fed the soil a tea of extra myc, and dr earth all purpose fertilizer and molasses

The soil cooked great and smells wonderful.

For my set up, I bought a 600 watt dimmable, digital ballast and mh/hps lights.

So far I have only gotten half of my clones I'm having a bit of an issue finding clones where I live and need a little more money to travel and buy my other 3.
The 3 that a got are called u2 kush (ewe 2 kush) which is a cross between master kush and bubba kush. They were a little bit thirsty and needed some room to stretch their roots when I got them, which is why they were so droopy:


I transplanted them immediately into 7 gallon breathable pots and watered. About 3-4 days later I started the LST process:


It's been about a week and a half, I've given them a high n tea since then and will be watering/feeding again in 3-4 days. A few leaves had a few small yellow spots which I think is a cal/mag deficiency. I haven't seen any new spotting since transplanting, however the spots never went away. I think I will add epsom salt to my next watering.

I attempted to FIM 2 of them a few days ago, but I'm not sure if I had much success, I believe they only got topped.

I'm a hydro grower but I'd be very interested to learn more about your soil preparation.
I may break away from the clay pebbles and try 9 plants in soil....?

Yes, actually the room is shared with my roomates; right now we have 4 fans total and I plan on buying 2 more. Also we have an intake and plan on installing 2 additional outtakes in the very near future.

It really is a very simple concept. The whole goal is to get the mycorrhiza to eat the fertilizers you add to the soil. The mycorrhiza's byproduct of those fertilizers are the nutrients your plant sucks up. The best part is you can load a soil up with n p and k and the plant will only use what it wants, so it's hard to burn your plants and way less maintenance. Teas are optional, but I want to pump this soil full of nutrients for future plants. I spent around $200 for soil for the 6, 7 gallon pots. But I also bought the top of the line soil and additives which made sense to me since the soil is reusable. It just gets better and better as it gets recycled so $200 was well worth it in my opinion. Also in the last 3 close ups of the plants taken today, they seem to have a much lighter green color than the bigger leaves. Is this normal? It has really become much more of a lighter green in the past couple days since I fed them a nitrogen tea, my guess is that it's just newer growth that comes in a bit lighter in color, that or maybe a cal/mag deficiency?

Any advice would be great

Alright, thought that I would post a little update.

There are a couple leafs on all 3 plants right near the very bottom of the stock that are yellowing

Im thinking it is a magnesium deficiency because nitrogen wouldn't make sense, seeing as I fed them a high N tea last week. The yellow leaves are all at the very bottom of the plant and they are leaves that are not getting much light due to being hidden behind other leaves. If any body has any idea as to what is causing this yellowing, I'd be very grateful to hear it.

Yesterday I gave them each about a gallon of RO water mixed with molasses and humic acid. I didn't want to feed an N tea in case the yellow is from too much N. Then I watered them today with epsom salt in plain RO water until I saw run off, in the case that it is a magnesium deficiency. PH was around 6.7. They seemed to have grown quite a bit last night, one of the plants looks like it has nearly an inch of new growth on one of his shoots, so I assume that molasses feeding gave some N to the roots.

Other than the yellowing, the ladies are looking really good... growing like weeds.. They are growing very fast, each day they seem to be growing a half inch or so.





Also I am very excited as I may have found my other 3 clones. Blueberry kush look like it may be the winner, but I will know for sure on Friday
