show me one person, that had their life RUINED by marijuana...i bet you anything she made up that BS story about some lawyer lady that was so addicted to weed her whole life fell apart!! like wow yeah right im pretty sure if anything THAT lady was addicted to cocaine or dare i say an alcoholic?? weed doesnt do that to people!!!!!!!! and the only reason so many kids are in "treatment centers" for "marijuana addiction" is because they are given a choice in court when they get caught with a bag of weed, you can either go to do time or community service or go to "treatment" labeled an addict!!

I wouldn't say stupid, more along the lines of ignorant, naive, or just forming a opinion off emotion (we are all guilty of it). Change the drug from pot, to say meth. Many would change their tune about legalization, many will have personal stories about the tradegy they have witnessed ( I have as well). It would sound quite reasonable to people for being against legalization. Fact is, that is based off the minority of users. Same with cocaine, alcohol, ect. Granted I haven't seen much positives about heroin use, but wouldn't be shocked to find out it's overhyped as well.
It takes people a while to change their views, even when our views are based on a lie.

i have no issues at all talking about my past drug addiction, which included being addicted to heroin for a few good years..
being addicted to a drug, one like heroin, is god awful.. it's a full time job, 24/ 7 all i thought about was heroin, finding ways and means to get money to get more, getting more, and lastly the shortest bit, actually using the stuff. my life was a living nightmare, and often i'd wish i woke up dead so i wouldn't have to go through the hell another second..
been clean coming up on 13 years come may, yay me..
anyhoo's, i've been smoking weed for well over 25 years.. never, not once, have i not had weed, and sat there and thought, damn, all i need is $10 so i can go get more weed.. never once have i robbed or stolen to get more weed.. never once, have i driven into the ghetto at 2 am to go score a bag of weed..
i've also been looking for work, so haven't been smoking much weed lately.. have a few oz's laying around, but haven't really touched much of it as i want to piss clean for a job.. if i were addicted to weed, i'd have smoked all of it that's laying around up, and would be out looking for more..
i know we all know it, but weed is so far from being addictive it's not even funny.. caffeine is more addictive then weed.. try stopping all caffeine intake and you'll have a wicked ass headache for days..
this lady is beyond retarded..
