just a bit of advice, you should NEVER under any circumstances, open a a colonizing tub. The mycelium needs high levels of Co2 to colonize properly and opening the tub decreases those levels which allows competitor molds and bacterias to a fighting chance to contaminate the surface layer of your substrate.pic of the myc in the ec and terrarium

I find the opposite to be true, but you seem to have a nice flush.Oh and also, casing just add more problems. All of the very successful tub grows I have done were never cased. IME casings inhibit pins and increase contamination. Its way less work to fruit a colonized mat of mycelium anyways.
do your best to minimize condensation. Contamination will collect there and drip along with the condensate. The tiny puddles are perfect breeding places for trich.Been spraying top layer dome has condensation all over it applying air few hours a day..nice shrooms ganga + reps
Ok thanx for the infodo your best to minimize condensation. Contamination will collect there and drip along with the condensate. The tiny puddles are perfect breeding places for trich.
Thanx for the tip and the b+ threads closedHey bro this thread is 8 pages long and almost a year old. When are you going to try a tek that really works?
Here: http://www.shroomology.org/topic/8670-6-quart-dub-tub-mist-and-fan-bulk-tek/
This is a complete tek from start to finish. Follow it to the T. It may seem like a long tek, but it is easy once you get the hang of it. As long as you practice sterile technique i guarantee you will have more shrooms you know what to do with.
No problem. That is the first tek i ever used. Instead of having to mist and fan all the time you can turn your tubs into z-tubs by simply placing 1" squared holes and filling with poly-fil. Then you don't have to mist and fan all the time. That gets to be a pain in the ass after a while. Follow the dubtub tek above for the jars and sub preparation. Then follow this tek for the tubs to place the holes in the right place: http://www.shroomology.org/topic/14-zombie-tubs/Thanx for the tip and the b+ threads closed
