Use the CO2 during flowering phase. Remember that CO2 gas is heavier than air. So mount your gas generator up near the ceiling. I reversed my ceiling fan so it would suck instead of blow. Now it pulls the gas up to the ceiling where it falls on the leaves. BigSteve.

Do you have your ceiling fan on a timer?
How does it suck it up and then drop it back down again?
If the ceiling fan is strong enough to suck it up, doesn't seem like it would just fall back down again unless the fan turns off...

CO2 is used in photosynthesis and I use it throughout my grow. I have a CAP generator and meter to monitor the ppm. The generator is mounted near the ceiling and the gas falls throughout the canopy.

Yes, both. It will cut down your veg time tremendously and fatten your buds up quite a bit during flowering. If you have no issues with height, run it all through flowering...if you do have height concerns, don't run it during the stretch.
