oh yeah love them but im so pissed right now my hortalux bulb just blew i only had for about 4 months wtf, i have a lumatek diamable ballast and the bulb says e ballast safe so wtf, i had to put a mh in for know

well i just emailed amazon hopefully they will replace it on the back it says it has a one year warranity, it was only 3 months old i thought hortulux was a good lamp, it cracked on the inside tube that holds the gas at the bottom

that's messed up ,I'm sure they'll make it good.i use eye hortilux on both mine,been using them 2 yrs plus and still putting out 100%.. is the extra lumens iwas goin for .Amzon stnds good for their items.good luck on that.

I switched to the Eye bulb recently, and got it at my local
hydro shop, so I can get help if needed.

yeah ive been reading mixed results with the eye paired up with the lumatek but that was in 2010 and they were suppose to have fixed the problem i guess not im going to get me another lumatek bulb cause i know they work, at first that eye was so bright way brighter then my other bulb but only 3 months come on maybe since i keep my ballast crancked up to the turbo charge setting that did it idk well see

The hortilux eye bulbs are not digital ballast matched so they tend to have short life due to the frequency of the digital ballast. Get bulbs matched to digital ballasts like Pulsar, Plantmax,Lumatek, or digitlux.
