Gay, is a term to draw acceptance to the fact that some people in your society (10%+) prefer to insert their penises into another mans anus, to the point of organism preferably, although this may disgust normal bisexual people, to a vast minority this is the preferable way of achieving orgasm, or just blatant fellatio, regardless Putin has raised an important issue, usually left to the Vatican but has proving vile in its attempts to conceal its own homosexual pedophilia over the recent years, ....don't you think it strange as a middle class bisexual Canadian / American, that they can split fucking genes on any animal, but they won't or don't correct an gene 'mishap' with these twisted fucks, whilst you dream of banging Mrs Left-hand and her 5 daughters, some sick fuck right under your nose, is dreaming of fucking you in the anus .....go figure ....Putin any day has my vote!

Your science is lacking.

you're totally right.

all the scientists figuring out how to better deal with the effects of climate change should take a hint from a subway employee and just quit their charade.
How about you try expressing an opinion and putting something on the record, or are you scared you're no match for a guy who made sandwiches for a few months?

Are we passed the "point of no return" like the AGW proponents who said we would be by now?

Why do you maintain that a warming planet will not have a positive impact on agriculture in places where it is currently, or recently has been too cold, or has had too short of a growing season for meaningful agriculture?

you are aware that there is zero correlation between homosexuality and pedophilia, right?

also interesting is that people with homophobic attitudes like yours are almost invariably harboring some latent homosexual urges that you're unaware of or deny.

anyhoo, something to think about.

carry on with your ignorance and hatred!

observation is intuitively obvious to the casual observer.

there, i showed my work.

false presupposition, loaded question, lacks citation.

truly an idiot.

Citation needed. Thx

FYI The anti gay propaganda law only makes distributing homosexual materials to children illegal, if you are an adult you can be as gay as you want and read all about it.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/russian-anti-gay-bill-passes-protesters-detained/

If you notice, parliement voted for this law, it wasn't some decree by Putin, he isn't king.
The article you linked seems to say exactly what I said. If you're a gay 15yo Russian, and I tell you that it doesn't make you inferior to a straight person; then I get fined if I'm a citizen and jailed and deported if I'm foreign. I'd also like to point out that Putin has to sign it into law; which makes him culpable. Then there's his very outspoken support of the orthodox church, which is exerting some rather strong influence these days. If you want to ignore the part he's played in this, then I don't know what to tell you.

I don't care how many horses you ride while shirtless. A man is judged by the content of his character. In light of his support of making religious offense a crime and making gay teens feel like lesser humans; I'd have to say he's a pretty shitty man.

he's a great man, just look at his dog. probably has a toyota tundra and a fridge too. do you have a large dog, a toyota pickup, and a method of chilling beverages? i didn't think so.

truly an idiot.
I asked a question, questions do not need citations, in fact, they beg for citation. Watch an inconvenient truth, he gives a "point of no return" that the entire scientific community had agreed to at that time (that is my presupposition, it is not false, it is right there given by Al Gore). If we have not already passed it, it is very close, and zero progress has been made toward reversing the trends. So I ask you, are we passed the point of no return yet?

Why am I an idiot for thinking a warmer planet might actually mean the planet gets warmer?

I asked a question.
your question was loaded with a false presupposition. the presupposition needed citation.

in case you need some help with it, your presupposition which lacked citation (and which i know to be false) was that "AGW proponents said we would be past the point of no return by now".

you need to cite that claim, define who the scientists are, what they said, their range of predictions, and so on and so forth.

anyone who went to law school should know these basic, simple things. i'm starting to think law school is just a euphemism for "subway training class".

Watch an inconvenient truth, he gives a "point of no return" that the entire scientific community had agreed to at that time.
al gore is not a scientist and 'an inconvenient truth' is not a scientific prediction.

Why am I an idiot...?
it would probably be easier to list the ways in which you are not an idiot, but i still can't think of any.

Clever post. Still void of any content on your part. Still dodging the question, and still afraid to match wits with a sandwich maker.

It's been a minute since I agreed to the terms of service for this site, but I'm fairly sure citing things was not one of them.

I am engaging in simple discussion. You are well aware that there has been given dates that signify a point past which they effects were not reversible. That is simply all I am asking you.

A question does not need a citation. I did not use the gore film as a citation, but a reference to the "point of no return." any intelligent person could easily see all I was trying to do was add context to my question, but as I feared, you cannot follow complex communications.

Let me remove all points of contention and simply ask,

Is there a point of no return, if so, what is it?

Secondly,

Why is it idiocy to suppose a warmer climate would push the boundary of agriculture northward?

Is this simple enough for you? Or are you still to scared to make a statement that requires you express some thought that is subject to public criticism?

you can't even formulate an honest question for me to answer.

It's been a minute since I agreed to the terms of service for this site, but I'm fairly sure citing things was not one of them.
yeah, citing stuff is not required, it's just a good idea.

I am engaging in simple discussion.
i agree, you are simple.

A question does not need a citation.
it does when it contains a presupposition.

for example: how did it feel when your ex-wife, who beat you like a redheaded stepchild as described on page 112 of her autbiography "married to a dope junky sandwich maker: learn from my mistakes", emasculated you?

Is there a point of no return, if so, what is it?
you're the one who said there was. so now cite the scientists who said so, the ranges of their predictions, and so on and so forth.

very simple stuff, any law school student should know this stuff.

I gave you two simple questions.

Is there a point of no return, if so, when?

Let's just try to get an answer to this one for now, I see you need to do things in baby steps.

I only said Gore's movie gave one, all along I have been asking you if you knew of, or thought there is one.

The water is going to rise at an astonishing rate of fractions of an inch per year, if I'm wrong, at the most a couple inches per year at the max, right? I've not heard or don't remember hearing how fast the oceans will rise, but that would be a light speed type rate of rise.

Plenty of time to build seawalls like are in place in the Netherlands. Pretty amazing structures. Some places might not be able to survive with a wall, so they will have to move inland.

It's not that I don't care, I wish it wont happen. But from everything I remember about "An Inconvenient Truth" we're well past the deadline to avoid these catastrophes. I remember hearing target years that "we have to change" by being something like 2010 and stuff way back when. Are we moving the goal posts now, or are the figures used 10 years ago for the "point of no return" still being used. We're at it now, or past it, right?

So if the sky really is falling, all this stuff is going to happen. People will have to move inland, or we will have to build walls. It is not me being callous, it is the truth from the people you say speak it.

If the planet is warming, does this not mean that we can expect to gradually have more productive agriculture creeping northward? Will the growing season in Canada and Siberia not lengthen if the climate gets warmer? Will a longer growing season in two of the worlds largest stretches of land not be of benefit to the planet's population?

I don't see why you think a warmer climate does not equate to better farming in the northern latitudes.

Why do you hate farmers?
This kind of rational thought will only piss the Eco-loons off, it takes the wind out of their sails. Expect to be attacked for making a valid argument. And yes, it's fractions of an inch. Small children and the elderly will never be able to outrun it.

The "worst case" predictions have the oceans rising over 50-100 years. Which of course, means it will likely be 100-200 years, if at all. But, we are called heartless over our lack of concern for the people who will drown. These are some slow moving folk they're talking about.

Coastal cities will have decades to design physical solutions and decades, possibly centuries to implement them. Think of the jobs created for your great grandchildren.

Now to be fair, some rich 1%'s may lose their inherited beach houses in the distant future. But, we hate those miserly, selfish SOB's anyway.

The one thing that will OBVIOUSLY help is redistributing some of our wealth NOW, to countries that MIGHT be affected in a century or two.

Our energy prices should necessarily skyrocket so...

Yeah, I got nothing. What does making our energy prices skyrocket accomplish? Is it a sacrifice to the climate gods? Will they make the oceans recede after our tribute is paid?

It kind of reminds me of that scene in Austin Powers where a guy is getting ran over by a steam roller.

Anyway, were at the tipping point, unless we stop now.
