Wanted to post some new info about bonsai hero.com : Hans put out a new 85 watt panel, kinda bummed I bought 3 of his 65 watt panels about 3 to 4 months ago. Well needless to say I'm coming into some money here in the next few weeks (with the help of his 65 watt panels I might add) so I'm gonna order 2 of his 85 watt'ers and add them to my existing 3 65 watt hansled's and have more light than Zues himself!

Appreciate the information but you only need to post to one thread. Not three stickies in the same sub forum.

Hi i'm interested in getting a Bloomboss fusion 600. Has anyone had any previous experiences with this light before and if not does anyone have a similar priced led that will do a full grow in a 4x4 space?

Tried myself and I found that 3 Hans is a bit short for a 4x4 area (its still ok tho, just not perfect), I'd say you need at least 4 to completely cover that space.
But I think a member of this forum had a 4x4 tent with 3 of them, was it Multipass? Maybe you should ask him what he thinks.

edit: here ya go

Thanks again to everyone who has provided me with feed back. You guys think bonsaihero would apply a discount to 4 lights bought together cause 3 65 watt panels go for 630 plus $50 shipping. When one is like 2oo somethin

I bought a cheap $159 Chinese 300 watt light. The fans are pretty loud and I can tell it's not as advertised. It may veg OK but it is noisey. I have a Solar flare 200 that is quiet and I can tell the plant likes it, It really perked up as soon as the light was introduced, better than the 150 hps for sure. I am weening over to leds.

Or maybe 3 hans panels and only do 3 buckets instead of 4.
lol, choices... I've been in the same situation as you but in my case it took months to decide. First went for 3 x Hans 65 watters, then realized I need something more powerful for my bigger plants and ordered an XGS because it has better light penetration. Then I saw the new 80 watters from Hans ans decided to order 2 more so I can have 3 tents, going perpetual.

I like the Hans because they're modular. In the same room, you can have 2 ft and 4 ft plants getting the same amount of light as you can place each panel independently at a different height. On top of that you have bonus light with multiple panels...And they're very light, you can place them as you want very easily.

But... I ordered a XGS 190, because it has more power and I'll need it for my 6' tall sativas to come. Hans wont be efficient enough for a plant that big, or I'll need to place 2 in vertical position, so no way. And dont forget that a XGS draws 190 watts, thats the power of 3 x 65 watts Hans panels while costing only 2...

Yea i'm on the wall with this. I think i wanna go with the 4 hans panels(65w, can't afford the 80) but apache tech has a read and blue led for $859 but it doesn't give a whole lot of specifics about the light footprint or if it will work well/do the job throughout the whole grow(seed to harvest). $800 for a light is really stretching my budget thin as i can pick up a comeplete, dimmable 1000w hps setup for $420, ballast and all, and spend the money on other luxuries(meters, bigger air pump, more/bigger air stones, etc.). I'm gonna do a few runs with bagseeds to see what works before i invest in some strains. But the lighting issue is really killing me atm. I'm also gonna do a combination of scrog, defoliating, supercropping, basically anything i can to form and maintain the most even canopy possible. So light penetration shouldn't be an issue especially with only 4 buckets in a 4x4 setup. I just want the lighting that i do get, to produce the results i expect. Or at least have the ability to(without any screwups on my end anyways, which i'm sure i'll encounter haha). As i am, by no means an expert. Just an informed adventurer about to embark on a quest.

I think their white/red 3:2 was better than the blue/red... and maybe the code floating around for some time can still make it cheaper? Wasnt it 250$ off or something like that? That would be an interesting option price wise, but I know what you mean with Apache's lack of info. This is exactly why I havent gone their way, plus Im not sure its worth spending that much just for weed grows... I know they're good, might even be the best, but ...

I think vlad intentionally ended his statement like that. I say guinea pig because there is little info here on these lights, but they look good on paper. One guy mentioned good results, but doesn't look like there are any solid journals done with them.

Ah ok thanks gaius, yea that light is a little out of my price range. It does look sweet though, I think i'm gonna go with an apache AT120WR. It's $715 and some change with some voucher code i found in another forum. I just hope it can handle a 4x4 area with good results. And if that doesn't happen then i'm goin to have to spend the 850 on 4 hans panels. Ahhhh decisions decisions :]
