Hello all, sorry to bother, but I have some conundrums with my ventilation and how to set up optimally.
This is my bathroom (aka future grow room).
It measures approximately 8 x 8 x 8 ft., which is around 500 cubic ft. I plan to put the 8 gal. Reservoir where the shower stall is, here:
This area is 38 in. long and 25 inches wide, which is just enough for im guessing 2 plants. To enclose it, im going to hang a "mylar curtain" with that L tube, just as if it was a shower curtain. Ill strap it to the bottom neatly with velcro, that will keep it still enough for the air from the fans to not move it around, but still let me access the reservoir fairly easily.
Please use your imagination and imagine the curtain going down, and obviously the shower walls will be covered in mylar, and i will remove the shower head when i get started.
For lights, im using an air cooled reflector with a 6 inch 240 CFM fan. The duct will run to this window, which is where I have a problem:
This window is located to the right of the stall. The window opens, but only the RIGHT panel opens. This leads to a little patio which will be perfect to pump out the smell. However, my problem is:
How do I get air INSIDE and at the same time BLOCK out sunlight?
Any help or suggestions would be so welcome, since I really can't think of a solution that is cost effective and doesnt force me to take out the window. I thought of building a wood panel with two holes in (for air in and out) but I dont know if i even need an INTAKE because the bathroom isn't that small. Also, my lights will be ON during nights and OFF during days (for 12/12) so the blocking light is real important.
Anyways, thanks everyone, cheers from CR (Costa Rica)
